I just saw on Southwest Airline's site that the 50K Chase Premier credit card offer is back. There is a $99 annual fee that is not waived, but the 50K points are worth about $833 and they're good towards the very valuable companion pass (110K points needed in a year).

You should be able to get this card if you had the Plus card ($69 annual fee) before as they're considered different products.

Just received my cards in the mail... no RR# on them.
If you do not supply a RR# during signup, Chase will enroll you in the SW program. If you request a rush on your card, there is a chance that your card will be printed prior to you being assigned a RR# from SW. You can always request Chase to send you new cards with the RR# on them. I'm not sure it's necessary though...

Was anyone else already hit with the annual membership fee? I had just signed up at the beginning of March and am being hit with the membership fees.
Mine came within a month of signing up. This is expected though. As far as I know, they won't waive them.

Do they credit the rewards to the number printed on the card? Just realized the number on the card is wrong.

I've read the cardholder's name has to match the RR member name, but my girlfriend and I both received our cards with my RR number printed on both cards. Will the points we earn be put on the same RR account?

Hi, can someone tell me how long it took southwest to add the 50000 points bonus after meeting the spending requirement? Did the points come along with the regular points you get for using your credit card? I received my first monthly statement yesterday which had ~2200 in spending, I made a payment and the 2200 points were posted in my southwest RR account an hour later, but I have not received the 50000 points. Am I supposed to expect my 50000 points in the next couple of days?

I'm already hit with the annual membership fee and I had the card for less than a week. My other chase card I was hit one year after I think. I called them and they said now they are hitting people with the fee in the beginning because people have been cancelling their cards before their 1st anniversary.

Also you will not receive any bonus points either with the annual fee. Makes the deal less slick, but still slick nonetheless lol.

My last card it took less than a month. You should see it on your next billing statement.

Bonus Points will post a day or two after closing if you reached the spending requirement 7-8 days before statement closing. Otherwise you will have to wait until one or two days after the next statement closing. This is the experience of many people, including me

Do you get the 6,000 point anniversary bonus after the first $99 fee?

I got both of my cards: One Premier and One Plus card. For whatever reason I got approved for both.

Reaching the $2000 spending threshold should not be an issue but if I am only going to get the 50K bonus once then Im canceling out the Plus card. What to do...what to do....

What happened to us: both my card and my wife's had my RR#. Spend for both cards was posted to my account for the first month. When we both hit the $2K spend, my 50K points were posted to my RR account. My wife's was denied - because the name on the RR account did not match the name on the credit card.

After a call to Chase they posted the 50K to my wife's RR# (and took my wife's spend off my RR account and posted it to my wife's.) So apparently they checked the names only when the 50K was posted in my case. YMMV.
