I received mine earlier today. The phone is in mint condition, the only issue I have is that when on a phone call, turning speaker on makes the person at the other end not being able to hear from me.
Went to the nearest ATT store, confirmed that it is a hardware issue but they won't be able to do an exchange since it's a refurbished device. Number of headset troubleshooting line was given to me. Called the headset troubleshooting dept, did some troubleshooting and was told that since I ordered with 14 days and it was through premier website, I should contact the premier support. Contacted premier support, having to do an exchange and I would have to return the existing defective device within 14 days of original purchase date to avoid any additional charge, the replacement will be sent to me via overnight shipping but currently this particular model is on back-order status and should be sent out from warehouse within 7 days. oh well.
got mine today during lunch. phone looks great. was able to talk on it. but my data plan didnt carry over to it. called tech support. thought they had it figured out. called again. thought so again. went to local ATT store. they troubleshot it. seems it is a bad phone. goes on and off network every 3-5 seconds constantly. called ATT. new refurb phone is being sent out to me. be here on friday. hope that one works fine. now to wait a couple days again.

Did you get your T-mobile refurb? I figure a new one would have come with headphones. I am just happy that 1) I can upgrade for $1 ($30+ activation) and 2) it showed up the next day
Anyone know of a good free wifi-hotspot tethering app after I root the phone? I want to stay on stock ROM for a while. Foxfi apparently is blocked by ATT now??
Nope I bought my T-Mo version used on eBay. I guess the seller could have put them in the box but I doubt it. I think they just come with the T-Mo version new. As for a tethering app you could put a rooted version of the stock ROM on (if it exists, which it should) and use WiFi Tether TrevE mod which works great on my T-Mo Note 2, but I'm running a custom ROM for the T-Mo version so YMMV of course.
I know ATT and Verizon's Note 2 did not come with headphones.
I looked on TMobile's and it didnt mention it either.
Maybe it's T-Mo specific. It's also possible the International version comes with them but I don't know.
Received my note 2 in an ATT gray box yesterday in mint condition. No problems whatsoever till now. Mine is gray with black accessories, S-pen included, no headphones though.
Now waiting for my otterbox commuter, scheduled to be shipped today.
Need to invest some time in exploring the phone, as it is a refurb.
Mine was mint and came in yesterday. No headphones though unlike my Skyrocket refurb from a while back, oh well. It is a big phone so one hand use is a challenge, but I'm getting used to the S Pen and took 14 pages of notes today.
Already rooted mine, very easy compared to Skyrocket. I just ghetto (carefully) cut my regular SIM to microSIM and it worked
Is there any advantage to cutting the old sim down vs just using the microsim that came with it?
Got mine yesterday, mint condition with the exception of a tiny scratch just above the screen but it is not very visible. Havent activated it yet waiting to get a case etc. S-pen included with wall charger + data cable, no headphones.
