Thread Details

This is the CVS Coupon Discussion thread for questions, scenarios & chat for all coupons (including Manufacturers) that can be used at CVS.

This is the only thread due to the fact another thread that had CVS coupons only turned into a begging thread and was full of abuse.

Do 12-digit mailed Qs act the same as emailed Qs (friend gave me a 20% off valid 9/14-15 that she won't be able to use)?

It will beep "not for card" won't it?

got 25% Sept 14 or 15 coupon in mail, does it work like XDD coupon or email coupon?
Are these card specific?

I tried the Renuzit B3G3 today and not sure what the message was, but cashier deducted $3.74 after it beeped. I didn't scan card first. I'm not sure how this would AD since the regular price is $1.87 and 6 of them would only come to $11.22 so it would be less than the $12.51.
Your's is B3G3, mine is B3G1, I got ripped!

Has anyone used the B2G1 Magic Eraser or Mr. Clean coupons yet? Do they auto scan?

Have a question about quarterly rewards, if my summer spending is less than $50 by September 15, I won't receive the quarterly reward due to less than $1 rewards is not going to be issued? Right?

Thank you

They are card specific, and act like email %. It's not a XDD.

I tried today too.

Bought 6 and I thought limit is 5 but all 6 is .99 each. Te coupon beeped for something, my FAV cashier manually entered 1.77 only because the regular price is 1.77 at my store, I pointed it out saying it is buy 3 get 3 for free and expected he deducted 1.98 more on top of 1.77, surprised that my cashier just deducted two more 1.77. So over all the coupon deducts 1.77x3= 5.31. So over all is .63 for 6.
I think your cashier scanned the small barcode instead of the long one. Small bar codes beep for price manually entered, and the new long ones do not. Register will beep for manager card but should auto deduct with manager card if long barcode is scanned. I have haven't got into CVS to try,. It was a busy day. Will let you know when I do.

You will most likely not recieve a % coupon in your email if you got the mailer. Everytime I received a mailer I got a reminder to use my mailer email, but if you do, you can stack as long as your cashier allows. The way I got away with this the easiest is sending the email to my card and handing the mailer. The register will allow both but YMMV on your cashier allowing it.

Please excuse me for asking this.
My card has not got any email coupons/mailers for months. I still have 100+ ECBs on it. I'm debating whether to get a new card, which means I would have to burn these ECBs on stuff I don't need.
CVS.com says if I report my card missing, they would transfer my balance to a NEW card. Does this mean it's a different card#? Or I would be reset of emails?
Also, if I start a new card? Can I use my old online account by deleting/adding a new card?
TIA for any help.

Haven't tried transferring anything. Although the one time I called CVS to report a misplaced card --- they sent me a replacement card with the SAME number...

New card was exactly that --- completely unlinked in any way (hopefully) to old card.

New email address & therefore new cvs.com account
new phone number
slightly different name but same address.
no transferring of ECBs

Have only had new card number since end of July but the number of emailed coupons & the great CRTs have made it worth the trouble. Should have received a plastic card by now but hasn't turned up shake head

I put away the old card abruptly but maybe you could get a new one and transition slowly? Slowly burn down the ECBs on the old card and do a couple of deals per week on the new card?

I wanted a new account in place before BLACK FRIDAY. And it did take a month or so to start getting good CRTs.

I am trying to do the same thing, my old card has only $20 ECBs after burning some. I have already got a new card from the store. Wondering if the new card is ready to use and register online? So I just need creat a new account with new email address? What about mailing address? If I fill in the same mailing address as the old card, will I get same coupons like old card?

Also, I have 9 pharmacy medicine refills already on old card, just need one more to get $5 ECBs, I wondering if I can register same medicine to the new card? Thank you! It's so confusing to me.

My cashier told me may be because I have reached to certain amount of earned ECBs, cvs stops sending me coupons. Embarrassment.

Haven't received anything in the mail for the new card yet so can't answer that. And I don't have any perscriptions so can't answer that.

I took a new card from the store and tried to activate it myself at CVS.com. Couldn't figure out how so gave up on that (maybe someone else knows how....).

Instead, here was my process:
create new email (yahoo, gmail, whatever...)
create new cvs.com account
sign up online for new cvs extracare account add beauty club to that account

print scan-able version of extracare account# for coupon machine ( the version you get at CVS.com will not scan at SCO or coupon machine). Supposedly a card will be mailed ( haven't gotten one yet). If you added a phone# during online enrollment, you can use phone# lookup at the register which works better than the print out from CVS.com

After months of not getting any non-generic CRTs, just recently I got:
$1/$5 Deordorant
$2/2 Suncare (banaa boat, coppertone, Hawaiian tropic)
$4/$10 Shampoo, conditioner, hair treatment, styling
$5/$20 facial skincare
$2 digestive health
$3 vitamins
$2/2 Boost pks
$2/2 Hand & body lotions ETS
$2/2 body wash or bar soap (exclude singles)
