Problems printing Bricks coupons? First posted here: This may fix your problem! Just follow the instructions in this thread to alter the url to suit your browser.

Problems scanning Q's at SCO? First posted here:

Credit for this goes to Skibum - On the SCO at Safeway if your Safeway coupon doesnt scan you can manually input the numbers using the enter PLU function. Basically its the option where you would enter produce.

A coupon database is available at www.Families.com once you've registered there. Good resource for checking availability & location of coupons for specific items you're interested in. (Thx to errickson for the info!) Another great one is available at www.coupontom.com [http]. And the nice thing here, you don't have to register!

This thread has good info on what coupons are available, what insert they were in and the date.

Coupon use at Safeway
Safeway usually issues store specific coupons via various formats...newspaper ads, mailers & emails. You can sign up for emails on their website.

Their coupons tend to scan fine at any store within their brand, even if the stores are not in the same area. For example, Tom Thumb coupons work at Randall's, and vice versa.

Their coupons also tend to scan fine at any store within their brand, even if the coupon says it's good only at a certain store. The best example of these are the ones issued when a store is remodeling or for a grand opening.

Usually, their coupons scan fine when you are using two different types of their coupons on one product. For example, $1 off Tide from a newspaper ad and $2 off Tide from some other source. This only works when the two coupons are obviously different (check the codes). I am not sure if it would work if you were only buying one item and trying to use two store coupons. I've never had a reason to test that.

Their coupons can be used in conjunction with manufacturers coupons, even if that causes an overage, although they won't pay you to take products out of the store! laugh out loud

Some stores don't accept internet printable coupons, there is a corporate policy on what coupons they take, and some stores follow this policy to the nth degree. If you get to one of these stores, try the store down the street, it is probably much more coupon friendly.

Manufacturer coupons for free or bogo items tend to attempt to give you credit for the price of the item without the card discount, but they usually beep for the cashier to approve the coupon.

Self Checkout lanes (SCOs) are a great way to get out of the store quickly. You can use your coupons except all BOGO, FREE and coupons over $3.00 require cashier intervention. This can be a hassle if you have very many of these type of coupons. You will also have trouble if you're buying a clearanced product that has the % off tag that has to be scanned.

Stores in different areas have different promotional deals regarding the doubling and/or tripling of coupons. If you see someone commenting on it here, you need to check what your local store does.

And while coupons may scan fine, the cashier you're dealing with can make any of the above YMMV. Smilie

Ha ha. Definitely not me. I usually do small transactions and stay as low on the radar as possible. I got scrutinized for using 6 David's peelies (bought other items as well).

So many freebies sounds fishy. Especially if she does it often. Thousands of dollars of free coupons regularly? How would that even be possible? I know you can buy them, but some of those are counterfeit, so I steer clear.

I used two free Purina One dog food coupons today at RA and the cashier called over their 'coupon expert' to look at them.
So now stores are hiring or training "coupon experts"? Sounds like a job we could all do.

thebatgurl are you the person who was at SW in Kelso a few days ago with 10+ grocery carts and a HUGE pile of coupons and the $ amt/prior coupons was $1000+? I was in awe, watching from the distance. I didn't get to see the final outcome, cuz I was on a time schedule... but dang. Employees told me whoever this is, does this often, with mostly FREE coupons (writes to companies?), and says she donates to local shelters, etc. Please, if you are on here, step up; I'd love to help add to your efforts!!!

I agree, that many 'free' coupons is fishy. I steer clear of the 'frees' because trusting where they came from is tough.

The manager there, who I do not personally like (he isn't a coupon admirer, and is rude when I need a transaction fixed), was right there watching her transaction. It was a produce guy who told me that if I think I use a lot of coupons (but like you, try to fly under the radar), I should go check out the lady who was at that end (closed off) lane... and how she has lots of freebie coupons... I passed by the end, and the total was at that point $997.xx and she was handing over coupons... I was like Whoa... who is she? lol The produce guy said she does this a few times a month and is a big donor in the area. I counted ten carts full of stuff, and the baggers had already taken some carts out to the lady's van. I was hoping it was someone on here... and I could find out more. I'll tell you, my little $10/$50 transaction didn't feel as normally gratifying when I saw her stuff. When I got home, I said hey, I got $50 worth of stuff for $10... but it felt hallow. lol

The main thing I thought though, was if she was a TRUE couponer (aren't I smart... lol), she would break those transactions up and use those $10/$50 on all of it. Hahah!

I guess we were trying at the same time
waited in line for reg cashier (no Express??)
I had 10% seafood so 4.50 -clerk didn't push thru & I was in a hurry -if I have time tomorrow will see if CS will give me back $1. The 10% could work against me in this case b/c they'll see I got a discount
(thank goodness I traveled further to make sure of friendlier SW)
friendlier indeed!
took it to CS today and waited awhile while she checked out the item
(is this really worth $1?)
but when she came back she gave me $5, saying that it qualified as scanning wrong price so free !!

finally bought Tai Pei tonight-TY for all reports
and the holiday flavors of Select ice cream on display
PP 2.40 for lucerne ice cream worked Smilie hubs is big fan of peppermint flavor

also looks like holiday shipment of Pills. pie crust, from the amount on display
but
didn't see any peelies this year Sadwalk
I looked forward to $1/2 Crescents peelie

I didn't have the $2 MFG in either of my accounts either, so looks like another targeted offer!

Yes must be targeted. I have had this offer before. They really are excellent crackers. I like the everything. There was an $2 IP. Seems like a slow week.

I think the .75/1 Facebook coupon would work on the crackers. $1.25 a box is still a pretty good deal, since we will need lots of crackers for holiday season entertaining! And a better deal with those that have double coupons.

DELETE - sorry, coupon is showing as expired :-(

Is there a way to review gas rewards redemptions history? I lost 10 gas rewards.. they couldn't have expired at the beginning of the month because I earned it just last month.
