Can you order both cables and get the rebate cards? It says cant be combined with any other offers? Not sure what exactly that means in terms of rebates

my SB5101u consistently gets 30+ mbps. What is the advantage of this modem?

I'm in the same situation. My DOCSIS 2.0 routinely averages 37Mbs via my Netgear wireless router since the Blast upgrade.
I'm debating whether or not another 13 Mbps is reason enough to replace a perfectly working modem.

to me that's a no brainer. 13 more MBPS for $60 forever? Sold.

What speed are you paying for?

My 5 year old motorola 5100 docsis 2.0 modem gets me 35mbps constantly on comcast blast with my 4 year old Trendnet router. I use this combo with my vonage phone, 2 laptops and 3 tablets and only occasionally(once a month) experience issue with phone calls getting disconnected after a minute. This is router fault per vonage.
I pay $44.99 monthly for blast internet AND Digital starter with HD DVR and HBO. Comes to $48.60 with tax.

I may get a slight speed bump "upgrading" to this modem but don't think I will do it.

If calling and online chat don't work goto a service center. I did that and cut my bill in half with a 6 month promo.

Almost buy it last night. But later on see the 6141 is only $67 at eBay so order that instead. After tax newegg comes to $62. I would pay 5 bucks more for a better one with twice the download lines

Jeez, I'm getting ripped off by Comcast to the tune of $7/month for the rental. I'll definitely give this a shot.

It is a generic prepaid card which happens to have a newegg picture on it.
