I went through the rebate thing to get this price. Well worth it. Put Gargoyle on it and it's been rock solid. Highly recommended!

If you hook up a hard drive to the USB port on one of these, does it have to be externally powered?

How do you access the hard drive from a PC? Is it difficult to set it up as a mapped network drive, and do you need to run any additional software on the PC to access it? My D-link dir-655 requires you to install software in order to access a drive installed on the USB port.

I'm hoping I can hook up a Seagate Freeagent Go to this and use it as a backup location. TIA for any input on this.

What is the range on this router? Looking for increased range in the 2.4 Ghz frequency.

This is a great router. Running dd-wrt flawlessly. Great throughput, and rock solid. Pretty good openvpn performance to PIA as well.

Still looking for an answer to this question, whether the power brick or power adapter is universal voltage (100-240V). I see some people got their devices already, would you mind looking at the power adapter for me?Thanks.
