Deal Details

HSN has the Tracfone LG 840G bundle (phone, home & car chargers, earbuds & choice of case) with 1400 minutes, one year of service and triple minutes for life for $99.95 (Reg. $129.95). Shipping is free.
Additionally, the Tracfone LG 505C with 1450 minutes, one year of service and triple minutes for life is available for $89.95 here [hsn.com]. (Thanks chazjr) According to eibgrad, once the minutes and service are added to the 840G, a bonus 70 minutes and 60 days of service will be added, for a total of 1,470 minutes and 14 months of service. This had been out of stock for awhile at HSN. There is an ebay seller that has a bundle with 1,350 minutes, but only 90 days of service and Amazon has a 1,200 minute bundle, but it's currently out of stock. None of the HSN codes I tried worked, including the new customer ones. They call it a smartphone, but I wouldn't. Which isn't to say it's bad, in fact, from what I've read this is one of the better Tracfones available. It just doesn't have all the bells and whistles.

It will handle 3G Wi-Fi.. If you can find it.. But you do get all the Minutes.. If you don't use Wi-fi to surf the web..
Its 2G.. Slow.. Little or No Apps Available.. But for Talk & Text.. Its Great for the price..

FYI. By the time you add in the mins and service time that comes w/ the phone, it's really 1470 mins (1400 mins + 20 mins + 50 bonus mins for some reason) and 14 months service (1 yr + 60 days). I picked up mine from HSN on a recent deal for $80 (there was a $20 coupon at the time).

Yes, it includes wifi, but the included apps are pretty lame, and the browser is a joke. It's really only good for retrieving email. Many apps don't use the QWERTY keyboard, but the ever so annoying T9 keyboard you find on cellular-only phones, even for things where you'd think the QWERTY keyboard made sense (e.g., entering fields on webpage). Ugg. So don't expect much in terms of wifi, it's barely serviceable.

As far as the back cover, everyone gets the black one by default (it's already installed). The color choices are for the *second* optional back cover.
I've had a Tracfone deal alert set ever since I came across your thread. Thanks for the information, it's good to hear from someone who has one of these. I tried 1NEW15 before I bought it, but it wouldn't apply (and I am a new customer), apparently there's an exclusion for this phone.

Here is another option..
$90 divided by 12 = $7.50 a month for Nationwide & International Cellphone Service..
You just can't beat it.. The coverage is Excellent..

Thanks, I added the link to the OP.

Apparently the 15% Off does not apply to electronics.. But a friend of mine called.. and they gave them the 15% Off anyway.. YMMV..

I called HSN about this and they told me to click the red box "Click here to verify zip code coverage" and it displayed "The Zipcode xxxx is eligible for TRACFONE service with ATT Network" which I assume means I'll be getting AT&T for my zip code.
