Just my opinion ... but the clothing at the factory store seem cheap. It's not the same clothing from the catalog or in the retail store. It's cheap clothing made specifically for the outlet store with a J Crew tag attached to it.

Yeah, I think that's pretty much common knowledge at this point. That's why they have their own website too. Jcrew factory is to jcrew as gap is to banana republic... sorta.

What's the difference between the Rivington and Gramercy shorts?

I like the clothes from the factory. I have some slacks and a couple of shirts and they seem like anything else. It's not Brooks Brothers, but I think it is better than Banana factory stuff.

Check out this article on one of their suits. For the price, you're not missing out on much compared to their regular store.

Well just based on the picture, Rivington is more refined, while Gramercy is more casual.

Rivington looks to have a hook closure, and pressed.
Gramercy has a button closure, and a pre-washed, broken in look.

This is probably a silly question, but is there a difference between J.Crew Factory and just J.Crew? Would love to use this in-store tomorrow if it's not only applicable to wholesale stores or something of the like.

was hoping for classical polos and slim fit polos but the only ones are pique polos. I don't even now how they fit compared to the normal polo types. I like the normal ones a lot. Can anyone compare how similar they are?

I've bought plenty of women's apparel at the factory store and I think the quality is fine; better than Banana and Gap outlet for sure. Yeah, it probably is different than the regular store, but it's also cheaper, so I would expect that.

Yes. J.Crew Factory is their secondary line that sells "value-priced" apparel. For instance, I believe that their Thompson suits are fused, whereas the Ludlow suits (from the original line) are half-canvassed.

I was confused by the coupon, is it 25% off entire purchase or just one item?
