I recently transferred jobs and moved, allowing more free time for myself. Anyway while looking for gyms near my new home I searched for coupons and found one online for L.A. Fitness that waives the initiation fee and only charges $29.99 for my closest LA Fitness.

Hope this isn't a repeat, but if so maybe a reminder to exercise? bounce

Try 1923151... Looks like a valid "friend or family" member to get the deal under.

Thanks, worked for me.

The one near me is a Signature one though, so it's $44.99 but I had the option of doing some other ones at the $29.99 price. Apparently if you sign up for a regular gym, you have to pay $5 every time you go to a Signature one, so there's no cheating the system haha

This is a pretty good deal though. I spoke with someone at the gym today, and normally its $150 initiation fee then $39.99/month... so this is $0 initiation fee at $44.99/month. I guess it'll catch up to me once I get to my 30th month...

nice! anyone know if they still run those deals where you pay for a few years, and renewals are super cheap?

Anyone know of a code to waive the initiation fee for the family plan? I'm looking at the one that's $84.99 per month for 4 people and the initiation is $99.

I was negotiating with my local LA Fitness a couple months back and told them I had that same deal with 24 Hour (3 yr up front; $29/annually) but they couldn't match it. He said that hasn't been offered at LA for years.

Watch out for those so called "waved" initial fees. I joined Planet Fitness because they advertised "NO SIGN UP FEE" and only $10 a month, then got charged $35 six month later. So read the contract.
