Those exclusions sound like a hassle, but in my experience, if you don't get your credit, all it will take is a quick phone call, email, or chat with Amex customer service, and they'll post the credit.
I had a similar offer with Dell a year or two ago. For some reason they charged the 2 items I ordered separately, so I didn't get the credit from Amex because it looked like my purchase was below the price threshold. Amex CS fixed it immediately after I called.
They're not a hassle. Just means if you pay via Paypal with your linked Amex card, it won't work. That's basically the gist of it. And you're correct, if your credit doesn't show up for some reason, it takes about 5 mins to get it corrected. Win win!
I got it. TY! Does anyone know if this would work if pre tip/tax amount is less than $100?
The way these sync offers work is that your total purchase (tip, tax, whatever INCLUDED) needs to be $100 or more. As long as at least $100 is charged to your card, you'll get the $50 statement credit!
