Yea, they do fine. I don't have anything for comparison, and I'm sure they're not as nice as more costly brands, but they serve their purpose well for how I use them. I only wear them when it's around 100 degrees Fahrenheit outside.

I should note that I don't use the compression shirts, but I think the regular ones use the same material.
Just for material comparisons, I also have Addidas, reebook and Puma shirts. I wear the starter Non-Compreassion the most in the gym.
The material is a tad heavier and it feels less plastiky to me...

Everyday price at Marshalls or TJ Max and thousands of styles.

They have like $5 - $8 running shirts, vented shirts, shorts, tanks, pants, everything.

This literally defines SD effect.

Remember when Starter was the UnderArmor of athletic gear? When I was a kid, I had to get 'used' Starter jackets because we couldn't afford the new price.

Now it's the cheap brand at Walmart. Too funny.
You're dead on! I remember my mother shooting down a Starter jacket... $99 for a football hoodie? She wasn't hearing it. LOL.

Does it try out sweat fast?
If you're in motion, they are comparable to the higher end brands. They get beat up a little faster in the washing machine, that's the biggest difference.

Relaxed fit and compression shirt are kind of a contradiction in terms.
Starburst - the clothing! I wasn't going to say anything, but you opened up Pandora's Box. :-)

I have a couple of these Starter compression t-shirts and, so far, I really like them. I use them to wear as a base layer when I go snowboarding or motorcycle riding and they work great. Wick away the sweat and, this is probably just in my head but recovery times seem to be a little quicker.

I've also used UA, Nike, Adidas, and other compression gear and while it is not as "nice" in regards to quality and feel, it gets the job done. The only thing I don't like about the gear is that the material hates velcro and will get snags if it rubs against it.

Regarding sizing, they are pretty true to size. Sure they are tight but that's what compression gear is all about. If you wear a large, get a large. The only thing that's a little odd about them is that they are a little longer in length than other compression shirts.

Not really. You probably are thinking of just a normal T-shirt which, yeah, that's a normal price. Compression is different and the normal price for this at WalMart is about $11. If you were to buy UA/Nike/Adidas, that cost would be well into the $30s.
