I posted this above, but this video should answer most of your questions. Neither is cure-all or truly better than the other, it just depends what you're looking to get out of it.

How does the Omega J8006 compare to the following juicers? It seems like the vertical juicers would be easier, but I am looking for feedback. Obviously the two below are slightly more expensive, but they qualify for the 30% and the extra 10% (FRIEND) discounts. Thanks in advance.

$380. Omega VRT350R Juicer, Vertical Masticating HD. Web ID: 742003.

I just purchased one after getting the OMEGA VRT 350 MODEL.
I returned the VRT, because it was too hard to clean and messy.

There's just something about the VRT, I don't trust. I though it was a good buy, but it's so much more expensive than the 8006. They both do the same thing.

When using logic, I understood that vegetables are more important than fruits. You can always just eat the fruit straight up raw in its original form, because fruits are always juicy and not to mention yummy. But vegetables, people have problems with eating vegetables all the time. People just don't like eating their vegetables. So when you factor in human behavioral patterns, choosing the 8006 is a better choice for juicing leafy greens.

If you think about it, if you were starving you'd eat fruit in whatever shape or form. It's the vegetable that you need to deal with a little more attention and how you get the nutrients and vitamins into your system

Been researching the 8005,8006, and some of the Vert models recently. From most of the "experts" that I've read or heard from, they say to definitely go with the stronger auger in the 8006. I just picked up the 8006 in this deal, so I've never used either to give you a personal recommendation, but have read to hands down go with the 8006 if they are close in price. I also believe the 8006 has a 15 year warranty versus 10 years on the 8005, if that makes any difference to you.
Thanks!
I see that the auger on the J8005 could be easily swapped with the J8006 auger...The J8006 auger retails for $60...So I am more inclined now to just stick with my J8005 and replace it with J8006 auger incase it fails...

call me weird, but maybe people should just eat their food the old fashioned way and leave the puree stuff for when they're bedridden and toothless.

Not convenient to eat several leaves of kale, couples bunches of broccoli and several beets every week.

people should do a lot of things perfectly, but then again, they're probably not perfect like you.
