This deal EXPIRED on May 14.

Just a note: the gift card doesn't expire, but the promo one does, usually within 3 months. I had that 75$ promo (from buying 400$) expired on me. It's not in the email which contained the GC, you have to log in to see your GC balance and at one corner it will tell you the expiration date

I can't stress enough what the guy above me said about the $50 promo expiring. BE VERY VERY VERY AWARE ABOUT IT EXPIRING. I LOST 2x$50 BECAUSE I WASNT READING THE FINE PRINTS. IF YOU CAN, USE THE PROMOS RIGHT AWAY. I HATE FOR SOMEONE TO NOT BE ABLE TO USE THEIR PROMO BECAUSE THEY WEREN'T AWARE ABOUT IT. SORRY FOR CAPSLOCK, BUT I DO CARE FOR PEOPLE TO SAVE MONEY ESPECIALLY A FELLOW SD'r.

I'm curious as to what everyone is spending their promo GC money on... I couldn't find much of anything after my initial laptop purchase, so I ended up combining two $50 promo codes for a 2TB External Seagate drive. Came out to $89.99 (obviously not the best price) but was told that Dell has no price match policy :/

It has shipped, I'm pretty sure if I fought hard enough they would but unless someone has experience I would rather not potentially get stuck with the gift cards...
I purchased a TV and then saw this offer after it is shipped. So I called them they said I need to return it and reorder so they redirected me to return team and after convincing them return team processed refund of equal amount of epromo gift card

What exactly did you say to them and how much of a refund did you get? I'm in the same boat and would like to get refunded as well. tia

I ordered a SB Outlet laptop through chat, and they let me pay using the $300 gc, $50 promo gc, and a credit card no problem. Got a nice deal on a top level Vostro 3460 (http://www.dell.com/us/business/p/vostro-3460/pd) except that it came with 8gb of ram for $485.37-$50 promo gc= $435.37

I went to chat with dell customer care and I told them about their own offer i.e. 50 off 300 and then explained the calculation. Customer Care suggested to return and reorder the product and redirected me to return department. I expained same thing to them. They offered me choice of free return or 10% refund in my CC. I asked for 20% and finally we settled on 15% so they proccessed my refund for $150 in total.

Most people play hardball and threaten to return what they bought.

I'm on the phone with them now and they are setting up the return rather than refund the difference. Oh well, too bad for them. Fine with me, annoying that they couldn't just refund the difference.

Talked to a manager and they're refunding 100.00. They insisted they couldn't do more, 150.00 would have been ideal, but they wouldn't budge. They tried to say 60.00 was the best they could do, I wouldn't accept that, but 100.00 is better than dealing with returning it and rebuying and then having to deal with the promo gift cards. My negotiation skills need work.

has anyone received the 400.00 promo gift card for buying the TV yet? I got the tv on the 25th and placed the order on the 20th. They say it takes 10-20 days to receive the promo gift card, but is it 10-20 days from sale date or delivery date? Also is there any way to speed it up? I'm thinking about buying something else from them and would like to use that if I could.

On phone and chat orders you should be able to use three promo cards on one order if the three promo cards completely cover the purchase. For example, if the order total all in -- including shipping, tax, etc. -- was $149 and there was $150 remaining on the three promo cards, the three promo cards should suffice.

That said, if you read through the threads of past such gift card offers, the number of promo cards allowed has depended on the customer service rep taking the order. Some reps have required that one payment be a credit card and some reps have allowed just one promo card per order.
