Does Microcenter take returns on RAM even though I installed it into my system already? I'm assuming the difference between this Kingston RAM, and the Corsair Vengeance is minimal, and only the giant heatspreaders are what make the difference.
edit: read some of the reviews, seems pretty sketch. with the backorder debacles I probably wouldn't even see my RAM until after the return policy expired from Microcenter.
OnSale has been around this the mid 90s and since it has managed to stick around for so long, I guess their business must be doing OK. Note OnSale was more popular before fleabay took over in the late 90s.
I bought a Kenwood Receiver from them and it lasted me about 10years. Disappointed it broke after that since I paid close to $600 on the Receiver. But 10 years for a refurbished is not bad.
The NewEgg sale for the Crucial Ballistix will come back for < $80 amd I would hold out for that. With DDR4 no where in sight, production for DDR3 will increase this year and prices will drop somewhat, not sure how much.
