Thread Details

http://www.clicksresearch.com/Home.aspx

I have belonged to them for 3 yrs and have gotten many of PTS from them you might be interested in joining them.
I posted some info go to the site and read the rest if your interested

More than 100,000 free products were given to our highly valued volunteers last year. The Clicks Team only work with high quality products such as L'Oreal, Yves Saint Laurent, Sanctuary, Marks and Spencer, Body Shop and Boots. And the food and drinks trials are really yummy!

Clicks Research gives away free products in exchange for quality evaluations. So you will never be charged for the products you test. Your products will arrive in the post for you to use at home. Then you will complete a short survey and tell the Clicks Team all about your experience

Every time you take part in a survey you will earn Clicks points, the more Clicks points you earn the more cash you get. The easiest way to make money in an effortless way, so easy you can do over breakfast, on the train or even on the street from your phone. Just collect your 50-200 Clicks points per survey and once you have reached 2500 you will earn $25. All volunteers that participate in a survey but do not qualify are put into a monthly prize draw for $50 cash.

Is this panel out of the UK because most of the profile questions are related to UK based products.
Has anyone else who is a member of this panel have any feedback?

I signed up last Fall through a link here on SD (looked and looked but cant seem to find that thread). Got into a study that ended in January for a facial serum. The test went as any other. I got to keep the study materials (the tubes of face serum) but no compensation other than that, which is 'ok' with me. I would prefer some type of compensation, but like I said I'm alright with just keeping the materials (the serum was awesome). The survey related to the test products was relatively short and easy to take. I qualified for a study that is slated to start in early June. The email stated that because they are based out of the UK to be patient when looking for the materials and give a weeks leeway to start the study if one hasnt received the study materials at the time stated in the confirmation email.

Clicks Research seems to me to be just an 'average' product testing company along the lines of like GHBL or like Elle or Glamour in that you get a really nice 'beauty type' product to test but no actual monetary or points compensation.

Hope this helps Smilie

*I do see in the OP's original post there is something about 'Points' ..... not sure if that is for the UK based panelists, but in my profile for Clicks Research I do not see anything at all for Points. I had meant to email them about that, then with the holidays during that first Study, I obviously got distracted and forgot about it till I just read the OP's post. So in my experience with them as a US based panelist, points are not offered.

*just looked again at my account .... there is a spot under my panelist name that is has a slot for "Points Accumulated" and although I did the 3 surveys for the first testing with them, I received no Points, but like I said there is a slot for Points to be tallied obviously. And in my Profile where you can update your info, there is a spot that asks what your "payment currency" is with a pull down menu, I chose USD. (united states dollars).

hug Thank you so much momala for your very thoughtful feedback.

It sounds like this is really a once in a blue moon panel and not one of those that you hear from on a more regular basis. I believe I already am a member of this panel so it is definitely not that big of a deal. If I hear from them great, if not, I certainly won't lose sleep over it.LMAO

Your very welcome nod glad to have helped

Yeah, those are my thoughts too, no lost sleep here either lol, but still a nice opportunity to try out a great product a couple of times per year. (that seems to be the frequency of qualifying every 3 to 6 months)

Good to know this info.

Again, you have been really helpful and now that I think about it, this panel has definitely been posted before.

Being the OP is a new user to SD, I guess she did not realize to verify if the panel had already been posted prior. It just makes it easier for others who may had signed up with them in the past not bother again because I recall the profile questions take a long time to complete.

I looked and looked on here to find the thread from late last summer/fall ...Clicks Research, Click Research, Clics, Klicks, - several different ways and could not find that thread. Being that SD is the only survey/freebie message board I look at, I know it has to be on here but at the same time I'm stumped as to why I cant find the elusive Clicks Research post. Thanks for the info as well.
It is nice to hear from other panelists who provide thoughtful and honest feedback which is quite helpful in determining if this panel is worth it or not. At least it is good to know that this isn't the type of panel like others where you here from them more frequently.

I rather devote my time and energy into panels that I know I will here from more often.

I totally agree with you. That is how I knew I had orginally signed up with them because it was posted on SD. I never forgot the endless series of profile questions that took alot of time to complete not to mention most of the brands were related to the UK which was a bit odd to me since they claim to be a global survey company. I have no doubt that some people who are panelists do get an occassional invite and possible PT but I'll bet if you reside in the UK, you would probably get more survey invites.

I have done testing for this 5 times last yr and this year so far 4, I checked the board and could not find anything that was related to Clicks research.
I just finished one for them 2 weeks ago and I am already in another one, so I guess it depends on your profile and demographics

It is odd that you are the only person here that claims to be in so many PT's with them unless you might have multiple family members or accounts perhaps with them.

I am grateful to the other posters who provided honest feedback because this is helpful for anyone who may want to consider this panel but not get dissapointed if they do not hear back from them that often.
