On the manufacturer's rebate it states in section 3 that the "Invoice must have the eligible tire name AND proof of purchase on Goodyear Credit Card (when applicable) clearly indicated". If I am reading the manufacturer's rebate correctly in order to receive the rebate we must pay for our tires with a Goodyear CC? Could someone please clarify if this is correct? Thank you.

Rebate is doubled when you use a Goodyear credit card, otherwise it is $40 as stated.

Dude fix your signature it's pretty bad. Most of the sources you have are retards. If you trust "Wordpress" for your news then you need a new source.

I have what I thought were pretty standard 215/70r16 tires, just crap available at sears, if that.
I just added a tire-size conversion tool [miata.net] to the Wiki.
Check alternate tires to find what is suitable.

For example, my tire size is 235-60-18.
If you check the calculator, you will see that an optional tire size for me would be 255-55-18.
The difference is 0.02% in terms of revolutions per minute and how accurate your speedometer will read.
The 55's were my preference as they were a wider tire, but the 35's were in stock, so I jumped on what they had.

Hope it helps.

When looking at the tire thumbnails, the Goodyear Eagle GT is listed at $145.99. When I click on the tire to view more details, the price magically jumps to $168.99 right in front of my eyes. What a bunch of garbage.

Not sure where you are on the site, but I believe that is because after you click it you get the price for your exact size. Before you click you get the price of the smallest they have in stock. Not uncommon really.

Tried to add the buy 3 get 1 free code, 10% savenow code, and the 30 off 350 and it looks like the 30 off 350 doesn't stack with the b3g1 free code.

Remove all, clear cookies from your browser.
Go back to tire page.
Add 4 tires, then codes in this order:
  • B3G1TIRE
  • SEARS35OFF300AFFILIATEDEALS
  • 65SYW350
  • SAVENOW
I just tried the combo again to check after your post and all are still valid and active.
$800 cart dropped to under $500, with another $65 coming in SYWR points, $40 rebate, and $25 cash back. (or much more if you use Discover CB)

Total out of pocket on an $800 purchase would be in the low-mid $300's.

I'm wondering the same thing. Anyone know more or can shed some comps on the two?

Four for my Altima would be $306 + tax - $40 MIR. I don't need tires whatsoever, but this is a steal. The extra 10% ends in a few hours.

Installation requires that you accept at least 1 of 2 options on the order page and each of the options cost money and will add a $12 disposal fee and a $7 recycling fee.

So, technically, not, "Free" but still good.
You're also getting cash back on those prices to lower further.

The Costco deal will get you lifetime tire rotations and probably cost quite a bit more out the door.

You have to keep in mind that SYWR members (Free, sign up!) will get $65 in store credit back, there is a $40 rebate, and anywhere from 5-15% cash back depending on which method you use.

I tried checking into the Costco route about 2 months ago and while it is a good deal if you need tires in a hurry, when a deal like this comes along, it pales in comparison if you're talking about dollars and cents only.
I think most here would agree that Costco service is miles ahead of Sears.

You should add a filler to put you over $350 to get the $65 back in SYWR points.

Heads up ! , when you opt out of tire balance package, the SEARS dudes will give you hard time when you arrive to install ,they will insist on adding that and charging you, last time i had to talk to manager explaining that their website offered that option and i do not intend to balance my tires at sears..anyways it was not a pleasant experience ..

The Eagle GT doesn't have very good reviews. My car doesn't need new tires right away. Should I wait?
