I actually found it cheaper to go through the regular budget website and put in the codes than through Costco... it was 10 dollars cheaper for me.

Get a fake ID? Big Grin

I'm not TC'ing but just for comparison sake check out http://www.carrentalsavers.com/hawaii.html for car rentals on Hawaii. I've always had really good luck with them. Costco may be cheaper, I dunno. For other areas you can just drop the Hawaii part of the URL. A bonus to going through them is your reservation is modifiable whereas I believe Costco's is prepaid. Last time I went I had to cut my trip short by 3 days. If I had prepaid I would have lost 3 days worth of $$ but because it was modifiable I just returned and didn't have to pay for the last 3 days.

I would recommend checking out discounthawaiicarrental.com. Extremely cheap prices for Hawaii that could be the lowest.

Glad to see they finally redid their website. No longer looks like a 6 year old made it Big Grin

Thanks for the suggestions. I just compared both of the websites suggested for the same dates and the deal I posted seems to still be cheaper. I will use that as comparison going forward though.

Yup the Highway Surcharge fee comes from the state. Almost all car rental companies in Hawaii will charge that.
The customer facility charge is required for all aiport car rentals. You can search for non-airport locations, but the rates are higher.

I have my own expired costco membership card. Does that work or do they really check the validity? TIA.

Your rental dates include a blackout period where coupon MUGZ041 isn't valid: SUMMER US-2013: 2013-07-01/2013-08-14.
