I've had this for a few months (got it super cheap via one of the NCIX or w/e that Canadian company's is called crazy deals). I can't comment on how fast or slow it is since I don't do much other than back up iso's on it, but i will say this: it gets very hot.
That said, it still works and is very small + fits on my key-chain nicely. The cap is somewhat easy to lose. I haven't had any personal functional issues with it.
First flash drive had a write-protected issue. Patriot support was a complete pain-in-the-ass to deal with. Mostly because they're slow, do not update you on the status of your RMA and incompetent.
Write speeds on the drive max out at about 10MB/s. Usually 6-9MB/s. You'll get about half a second of 22-30MB/s write speed and then it'll quickly drop. Read speed tends to be about 40-50MB/s. The drive gets extremely hot and is very fickle. Don't put anything on it you're not okay with losing. I wouldn't have bought this had it not been $8 a few months ago.
