My son has last year's Aldi's 9x7 (fly is slightly different design and no electric port) and he used it for monthly Boy Scout camp outs + back yard camping. It's been through 100+ degree days to -12 degree nights and a few storms - I'd guess 25-35 nights total use, mostly last summer/fall. For $30 it's been pretty good. The two problems are - one of the stitched loops to hold a stake tore off and one of the fiberglass poles has vertical cracks. The pole was splinted with some metal and duct tape. It would likely survive more fair weather camp outs, but extreme temps seem to be murder on fiberglass poles. Since he has many more years of scouts we just upgraded to a Eureka Timberline with aluminum poles.
To be fair I also owned two Northwest Territory tents that also had the same problem with the fiberglass poles. I expect that they all come out of the same factory in China.
