Paid via Paypal and just got the 2nd email from Walmart after order confirmation that says this:

I've been trying to purchase a game on walmart.com and keep getting my order cancelled.I've tried thrice so far. Once with paypal, twice with a CC.
Called Walmart, and surprise surprise, they blamed Paypal and my CC.

I did a search here, and saw that many had posted about getting this in the various hot deals and I was wondering if anyone figured out the reason why? Or a fix?

are you trying to have it shipped to a different address than your billing on your credit card, did you call your credit card company.

I had an order from the Dell outlet cancelled one time as I purchased 2 laptops within 2 minutes now i always call my CC company

Nope. Shipping it to my own address. Everything matches.
Credit card company says that they're not denying anything. They were just wondering what's happening as well.

Err...that's not what I received. I know about the phishing scam. I placed an order online. It goes through. I receive an email saying the order was processed. Then a few minutes to an hour later, I recieve another email telling me that the order has been cancelled.


Tried it three times, and happened all three times.
I can see the cancelled orders in my Walmart account.


Tried it with my dad's account (on my PC) happened to him as well.


I placed an order 3 days ago, and that was processed and shipped today.

I have called them. And they're useless. Either they tell me to call paypal or my CC. (I tried paypal at first and then tried one CC and then another). SO I told them that let me talk to the fraud dept, and they said that the system won't let them.
The system is telling them to tell me to call my CC.


I'm surprised you guys haven't heard of this before. I'm not the only one who this has happened to.

I don't think so. I got a similar email after trying to to store-pickup on the FP Coleman cooler deal a few weeks ago.

If it was a Phishing email, why didn't they ask the OP for sensitive information?

WMT has been screwy with trying to do in-store pickup for things. I eventually got my coleman cooler shipped.

I did it for shipping. If you order a $26 GC to go with it to get your total above $45, you get free shipping. I'll go to walmart and use it up next time

I placed an order for a different item, and I haven't received a cancellation yet. So I placed another order with the game and another item. Let's see how that goes.
