Maybe I shouldn't post this until I pick mine up.. but I thought it was pretty decent deal:

12' x 8' shed - 6' height at the doors.

http://www.lowes.com/pd_437509-57...facetInfo=

Can combine it with the Lowes 10% off coupons (read the thread on them to get them free while they last).

$858.00 - 10% = $772.20 x tax 6%= $818.53
Depending on tax rate it will vary. Looks like a nice shed, made in the USA etc.

Some comments suggest adding a few pcs of wood.. but it works great.

Anyone know how much would it cost to have someone install this for me?

I was told labor would be $1000 to assemble, not sure of accuracy based upon how the CS was asking others.

Started pricing things individually and I was up to $500 with a lot of the little stuff left to price and said the heck with it and picked one up today. Used 10% off coupon and AMEX reward.

$772.20+tax is a decent price for this shed

Using 3 4x4x12' PT for base on 2" blocks and, 2x4x12' for flooring sides with 1ft centers to beef things up.

Thanks OP!

Does anyone have or know of a place to get a 10% off Lowes.com coupon? I've scanned the SD Lowes Wiki page and all of them have already been used Frown . Looking to buy this today but can't seem to bring myself to purchase it knowing i could be saving an additional ~$80.

Do a search for the 10% off Lowes thread. There is a breakdown of the numbers in the code and if you randomly try certain numbers you will get one that works. It took me about 5 minutes of trying before I got a code to work.

Found the post - Thanks!

For those of you looking for the breakdown as well, here's how to create your own coupon code (copied from seperate post)

I have posted this on another thread, but to make your own codes just grab anyone from the OP's list and do this:

Take a code like 470002846380235

Break it down into this for readability: 470002 8463 802 35

The 470002 are the same for every one along with the 802

The numbers easiest to change are the 8463. The bold numbers are those which occur most often in that decimal place.

(1st number) 5,6,7,8
(2nd number) 0,1,2,4,5,6,8,9
(3rd number) 0,2,3,5,6,7,8,9
(4th number) 1,3,4,5,6,7,8,9

Change any/all of the 8463 to any of the possible combinations and you will have a code (it may have already been used so switch a few more)

Here is another shed option if it suits your tastes. Same $100 off this week:

i have a shed in this style (Called dutch barn i believe). the added roof height is great and allows for more shelving on the sides of the shed (U bought it to store stuff, so add some extra shelves).

i did help a buddy of mine put one of these together. overall a good deal for the money especially if ur not comfortable measuring and cutting everything. one hint, check to make sure everything is SQUARE or when u get to the roof it will be uneven and u will have to do a bunch of fiddling around to even out the shingles.

as mentions plan to spend a bit extra on things u will need such as pier supports or crushed stone foundation, shingles, roofing paper, roofing nails (A nail gun is perfect for this job), construction adhesive and TOOLS if ur DIY tool collection is just starting out.

Willie, you registered just to post that?

The 8' x 12' I posed was a few months ago and after coupons etc was under $800.

Now it's up to $1150ish.

On your site it shows the same style in 8x12 for $2300.

How is that lower prices? http://www.socalsheds.com/sheds/s...-peak.html

The cheapest they show is a TINY 6' x 6' for $1,795! WOW

I fully support helping local businesses but not when the product is 100% more expensive.
