After I logged in on shopdiscover I searched for Home Depot and it said they weren't a retail partner?

And online coupon codes will invalidate any cashback, right?

I think YMMV, but I believe while they are suppose to invalidate it that they do not necessarily, I am going to try stacking! But don't click through at a cashback site... This can override the shopdiscover cookie!

If someone knows better please let me know!

Also, I didn't know cashback stacked, thats GREAT!

YMMV, I have had success in the past with coupon codes at Sears, Lowes and Staples without affecting cashback payout.

Damn it. I wish I had been aware of this on Thursday when I placed my HD order. I could have saved another $10. :/

Actually I don't think you get the 5% quarterly cashback since you're ordering online. The 5% is for B&M home improvement stores. I noticed when I purchased some items using ShopDiscover the homedepot.com items categorized as "Merchandise", not Home Improvement. Whereas the items purchased instore, came up as "Home Improvement". Just to give you the heads up...

This went up to 10% a week and a half ago, waited for it to go up from 5%, then ordered a bunch of flooring to pick up in the store. Had signed up for the additional 5% apr-jun, but I only got notice on my account of the 10% bonus. Maybe the 5% will show up on my account in a month?

I originally thought so too, but last month I made an online Ship to Store order and it was categorised as Home Improvement and I received both 5% from ShopDiscover and the bonus 5%.

Maybe it has to do with Ship to Store vs Ship to Home?

Does the charge come up as Home Improvement or Merchandise?

10% has no cap but 5% is capped @ $1500 for the quarter in purchases. I prefer lowes 10% mover coupon and use that online to get 10% off instant and then 5% back for quarterly. Of course that only works if lowes has the same item you want for the same price as home depot.

Thanks, I just bought a john deere mower and will save 30$ - 45$ depending on the extra 5%. Perfect timing now I don't have to wait for a lowes coupon. But I will try to use a 20% coupon from hf before I pick up my purchase
