Polaris is offering a $200 MIR (Visa Rewards Card) with purchase of a 9100 ($599 or less) or P91 pool robot. A vendor on Amazon sells the 9100 for the same price, no rebate. Purchases must be made by a participating Polaris dealer. You can find one locally through their website, where you can also download the rebate form: http://www.polarispool.com/Rebate...Offer.aspx

Valid only on purchases made on or after May 1, 2013, and the promo period ends June 30, 2013.

There's a second rebate that extends to other model Polaris robots, and the amount of the rebate depends on what you spend, again at a participating dealer which you can also find through the link above. The prices after rebate on those models appear to still cost more than what they cost before rebate from a vendor like Amazon, so feel free to not get excited about that unless you really want to support your local pool store.

Qualifying models for the second, "tiered" rebate: Polaris 360 / 360 Black Max™ / 380 / 3900 Sport / 9300 Sport / 9300xi Sport / 9400 Sport / P93 / P94

I hadn't heard of these models before I saw the promo, and there are only 2 reviews on Amazon which leave me underwhelmed http://www.amazon.com/Polaris-910...laris+9100,
but the price is so low compared to their other offerings that at $399 after the rebate I'm considering giving it a shot.

I've been trying to decide between the extremely well reviewed ($430) Polaris 280, which requires it's own pump (+$150-ish) http://www.amazon.com/Zodiac-F5-P...m_sbs_lg_1
and the ($945) 9300 sport http://www.amazon.com/ZODIAC-SYST...olaris+p91, which requires nothing extra.

Krogan,

I was in the same boat as you are. As you said you can find the pressure cleaners like the 280 & 380 cheaper online without having to deal with a rebate. I will be supporting my local stores for years to come with maintenance items. I had no problem getting the cleaner and pump online.

Not to continue going off subject here, but I went to a Polaris Event a couple of weeks ago. I was able to talk to a Polaris (Jandy) rep for a while about all the different cleaners including the new P91 which he said was doing very well because of the rebate. The rep did say since I already have a separate line plumbed for the booster pump that I am better off going with a pressure cleaner. He suggested the 3900 Sport (of course since it is the most expensive model), but the 3900 gets terrible reviews. So I went with the Polaris 380 and PB4-60Q Booster Pump [sunplay.com]. I picked up the 380 on sale for $579, but now the site has it listed for $699 - $100 rebate.

Good luck!
