Thread Details

I was recently searching for a $200 Chase Coupon for a new no direct deposit checking account. Came across a few people selling a $300 Coupon Direct Deposit Required.

Just seeing of anyone has had any luck with this and if they were still able to take advantage of the bonus $150 for a new Savings account with 10K deposit.

Thank You

300 is amazing, we both signed up for the 200 earlier this year. Darn, should've waited. As for the 150, yes that's still going on and as far as I know, it's good till 06/30/2013.

Just wait a full 12 months and your eligible for a new bonus. Thanks for the info on the $150, almost wasted $10 buying a Savings Coupon on eBay.

With Chase I have 3 accounts, Checking, Savings, and Business Checking. I closed the personal checking/savings after 6 months every year. I have about a dozen credit cards, most with a 0 balance, just open them for the bonus.

arent the sign-up bonuses for bank accounts subject to the same one-time bonuses as the credit cards?

After 12 months you are considered a new customer. You do have to close the accounts though and reopen. Obviously I would not recommend using these accounts as your main checking, I have a seperate account I use for regular daily banking. I have also signed up for the Sapphire card twice and both times received the 40k bonus points. American Express also has the same rules. Last year I signed up for a personal and business card netting me 150,000 points. If you have the time it can turn into a great side business. I'm up around 10k in cash and haven't paid for a hotel room in the last 3 years.

The Chase checking account requires it to be open for 6 months to keep the $300. And they charge $25 monthly unless you meet some particular conditions which most can't meet. So 25x6+10 = $140 total. Still might be worth it, but not as good as it initially sounds.

Your referring to the Second Tier Checking. Their basic account has much lower requirements and month fee's, shown below.

$12 Monthly Service Fee
OR
No Monthly Service Fee with direct deposits totaling $500 or more, OR with $1,500 minimum daily balance, OR with average daily balance of $5,000 in linked deposits16/investments.

I couldn't find the $300 one when I searched. If you still see it what keywords did you search? The $150 and $125 direct links are still live till 07/06/2013 currently, but they usually renew of course.

When I picked one up only 2 people were selling them. Doesn't look like anyone is currently selling one though. If I come across one I'll let you know.
