Best replacement graphics card for Dell Precision 390?

isAndrew 233 73 June 4, 2013 at 12:07 PM
Hey guys,

I'm looking for advice as to which graphics card would be the best for to replace at work for my Dell Precision 390. It's currently running a NVIDIA Quadro FX 550.

I'm looking for the best possible graphics card that's capable of running dual DVI for under $50.

Thanks in advance!

edit: the supposed specs for my computer: http://www.dell.com/downloads/glo...390_en.pdf

What do you use your computer for? It looks like it's PCI-E so any modern card will fit.

It's mainly just work with excel, documents, and picture editing (photoshop, etc.).

I still need help deciding which one will be best for me under $50 though. So if you could offer any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated!

edit: I just saw your signature and had a good chuckle.

Anything will work for what your doing (Not GPU dependent). You don't need the workstation grade card you have now. Did your current card die or was something else the problem?

under 50 is not going to make much of a difference check your apps and see if they recommend anything as far as brand or features.

You probably want to start a new thread to ask this question.
