Amazon - OOS on Launch (Day) Edition, but Launch Day bundle editions in stock, only Standard Edition Available
Launch Edition is Identical to Standard Edition with the exception of launch day delivery.

Amazon added Launch Bundles with Battlefield 4 w/ $10 off a year of PS Plus ($500), Killzone w/ $10 off a year of PS Plus ($500), Knack ($460), OR Watch Dogs ($460). You know you were going to need a game with the system.

Amazon.com has Sony PlayStation 4 Console (Pre-Order) for $399.96. Shipping is free. (CC charged at time of shipping - Returns accepted Customer pays shipping to return unless item defective)

PSN+ will be needed for multiplayer on the PS4, but not the PS3 or Vita.
Correction: You will need PSN+ _ONLY_ to play PS4 _games_ online, not PS3 games.

Based on a leaked poster the PS4 is expected to launch November 13th, 2013. [imgur.com] This date has not been confirmed by Sony.

CC is not charged at the time of purchase. It is a pre-authorization to make sure your card won't be declined. It will not show up on your bill, and you don't have to pay for it until it is shipped. However, it may count against the total limit on your card.

Launch Edition is Identical to Standard Edition. The only difference is that Standard Edition is not guaranteed for launch day delivery. On Amazon, to verify which edition(Launch or Standard) you preordered, follow the link in the OP to the product description page and cycle through both options.

the item that you ordered will have a yellow bar just below the amazon search bar stating "Instant Order Update for Firstname Lastname. You purchased this item on June 1X, 2013. View this order."

Attached Amazon email below depicts that standard edition and launch edition are the same. Launch edition is release day delivery eligible.

I started at 550, then down to 500, finally sold 1 for 500 and 4 for 470 to a reseller lol.
I tried to avoid ebay as much as possible.

Located in Los Angeles.

everyone preordering multiple with plans to sell - you do realize why most of the shortages occurred with previous console generations right? MS, Sony, and Nintendo used special processors (Cell, etc) and had to invest in special factories to produce proprietary chip hardware.

The XBone and PS4 are using standardized PC hardware (DDR3/5 RAM, Multi-core AMD processors, etc) so manufacturers and hardware should be plentiful. good luck unloading your additional consoles at retail prices on Craigslist =]

shouldda heeded the warning back in June. Once the console makers abandoned proprietary hardware and started using more standard PC components, the resale market was doomed.
