Yeah. I mean, I did consider the value of booking a flight with the points, but I didn't have any overseas travels planned, plus, I can't really book a first class/business class flight by myself and make my gf sit in coach (unless we spent another 4 grand on her ticket) LMAO
haha i see ;p

100k for $1250!? 100k amex is easily worth $4000+ when transferred to partner airline for travel
dont want to go off-topic but wanted to clarify-
How 4000$? If i had 100k in rewards and did 50% bonus on avios then as well it would be 150k avios= 12500 (american airlines)*12= ~200*12= barely reaching 2.5k$
Correct me if I'm wrong

Buy Chase GC or American Expression GC . They always have promotion to waive the fee.

My friend and I both messaged them saying there is a current offer with 50k and $50 statement credit. They simply applied it after I made my minimum spend.

Yes, Chase will match a current offer within the past 90 days. Just send them a secure message from your online account and they should match.

What did you tell them for the United card? I have the 50k offer but no $50 statement credit that I'd like.
The Ink Bold/Plus can both transfer points to partners just like the Sapphire Preferred card.

They offer to buy off your credit card points. I've done this for the AMEX Platinum 100K offer and walked away with about $1250.

It's risky for Ultimate Rewards though (Chase), since the Terms stipulate you can't transfer points to anyone other than your spouse. So you might get your card shut down after the points transfer.

I hear they can rescind the points altogether, but the risk is up to you

is there any different between the bold and plus besides that one is a charge card and the other is a credit card?
