Usable on hard drives?
I was able to use on a hard drive last time there was a 20% coupon without issue.

Last time also excluded "storage". Not sure if they mean physical storage or electronic storage (hard drives)

I considered that. I did the groupon deal this morning and still have about $25 of the Promo eGiftCards from last week's Father's Day deal. But then I think, why spend free money when I can use free money to make more money. Yes I'm that cheap laugh out loud

Yes. It's an eGiftCard so you have to print it out, but otherwise its just like a gift card and treated as cash.
You're over thinking things.
You wanna get to premier, you need to spend money to do it, ur worried about the $2 for the B&M purchase when you can easily make that up by doing the egift card promo and then do the software deal 7 times(if u have that many addresses to use) and ur still up a buck!

Looking for some advice about using this coupon to buy a new wireless router...
I'm upgrading from a DLink 655 and have been looking at the Asus RT-N56u, which Staples has online only for $99.99
I have a 25 off 100 online/phone order coupon, and the 25 for 40 Groupon.

Would I be able to order the router through the kiosk with the 25 off 100, then apply the 20% when I ring out?

My concern is that the application of the 20% at the register would invalidate the 25 off 100, which would require a manager override to apply. Would it be best to wait for the manager override for the 25 off 100 and then hand over the 20%?

If this works, it would end up

100-25(25off100)-15(20%)-15(savings from Groupon) = $45 for a new Asus RT-N56u, which has a lowest price of $85 from CCC, and the last deal on SD was $55 after the Norton rebate.

YMMV as all (weird exceptions it seems) kiosk orders that have a discount or coupon have to be overrode by MOD to be approved at "pay at register."

That I understand... I was just wondering if people mixing online $ off and instore % coupons had any experience in this situation.

GF (different groupon account, address, CC and everything) tried to get one after I got my two and got the error to contact CS. Called and she got one. Seems like they are tracking IPs, etc..but we all know how to get around that. Wink I guess Groupon learned their lesson after past exploits.

Staples changed their system on 5/1/11 to disallow online coupons when used on a kiosk order when paid for at the register. It errors out as coupon not in the data base. The only way to get around it is to get the manager to override the transaction and give credit for the online coupon. Override is YMMV. If you can get that done then you have to deal with the store coupon being accepted on the transaction after the online coupon override. Another YMMV. Store coupons generally only work on online items if the online item is sold in the store with the same sku as the online product. Something that adds more complexity to using store coupons on online orders. So, yes, I would say there is some experience in trying to do what you are asking.
