I pulled the trigger...literally

Bought my first firearm. Should pick it up at the dealer in a couple of days. Couldn't find one locally.
Springfield XDm 9mm. It felt best in my hand after shooting it, Glock 17 and 19, a Sig, and a couple of others.
It's my first gun, so don't give me a hard time about it being only a 9mm.

Not a bad way to pop a cap in yo firearm cherry...
I also bought a tiny S&W Bodyguard 380 to carry, but I don't take my class until August, then I'll get my carry permit.
I love mine (9mm sub compact), but I find it very difficult to conceal and carry it. but it's only one in my collection, i have others I like to carry

In no particular order:
1. Because I can.
2. Home defense.
3. It's kind of fun to shoot.

My county also charges $5 per permit for a Pistol Permit, which I got a couple of days ago.
