Bought my first firearm. Should pick it up at the dealer in a couple of days. Couldn't find one locally.
Springfield XDm 9mm. It felt best in my hand after shooting it, Glock 17 and 19, a Sig, and a couple of others.
It's my first gun, so don't give me a hard time about it being only a 9mm.

But the XD-M is a quality gun that comes with quite a bit for your money.
EDIT: one of these days I'll get a revolver for my carry, this full size carrying isnt too comfortable

What kind of range doesnt have 9mm in stock../fail
Well congrats, now you just need a Mossberg 500 no shoulder stock for home protection
EDIT: You're right they are very hard to find, gun shows sell through them usually on the first day(friday) and I cant get to them until sat/sun. Only way I got mine was it was used and in with a bunch of other guns. To be exact mine is the CZ 40-B - was supposed to be a collaberation with COLT and they backed out so CZ finished it on their own. I was suprised to see theres a decently large following for this gun.
Yeah, I won't be returning that other range that had a rental CZ but no ammo. It's hard to get (at least at a reasonable price) but weird to not have ANY. My regular range limits you to one box - but a box of 100 counts the same as box of 50 for their limit.
I didn't care for the other range anyway. I asked what the difference between the P01 and SP01 was, and the guy just said "I don't know." No attempt to find out. I was kind of testing him, and he failed.
