Promo ended on June 30th. Deal is now dead.

Here's the number to Corporate AT&T, the real person line! It took me a long long search on google to find this out. 210-821-4105, you can reach the executive line and have a switchboard person to switch you to someone you want to speak to. I managed to get directly to the office of the president! The guy who picked up is Kirk Hooper, 916-394-7145. Very professional, and promises to look into the matter for me but said it will take him a couple of days. If the more of us complaints to him, he will see something is wrong and hopefully he can help! Again this is still YMMV because he has a boss over him that makes the call. Good luck guys! Hope this helps

Packages being intercepted !!!!! Fark AT&T

The cancellation may be for the phone only (You still owe for the service) Call to verify the service is also canceled.

SHTF ALERT: Cancellations, cancellations everywhere!

Month to month (M2m) is DEAD
non-commitment i.e. no contract device is DEAD

Phones shipping (ordered 06/22, priority shipping, origin fortworth,TX, USPS)
Check through link on email/at&t website/or shipping conformation

Galaxy S4 SIM unlock

The 50% works also on eligible "upgradable" account .
Worked on my family shared plan on the one eligible line for upgrade.

How to buy a non-commitment i.e. no contract device from ATT

Your best bet is going to the local store for pickup or ordering with overnight shipping. I don't think ATT is going to ship these devices on monday.

Quote :
Select month-to-month.

Online
Cancel the line AFTER you get shipping confirmation and it is in route to you.

Pickup
Nothing. Cancel as soon as you get home with your device.
Canceling
Call ATT and request to cancel your line. You have 3 days to get 100% service/act fee refund. After that it is prorated or the whims of ATT. Get confirmation of canceling and the employee's ID (their email address). You will get a bill in the mail for $0 and that is it.

Call any ATT number and say "cancel" and you will get transfered to retention/cancelation department. "I would like to cancel my new line. All I wanted was the phone which is why I ordered a month to month plan."

DO NOT USE the activated SIM if you want a 100% refund i.e. don't make a 30 minute call and expect them to not charge you.

Month-to-month = you get a bill = postpaid = you need credit

In store pickup is only Available in select cities

AVAILABLE:
Washington, D.C
Chicago, Illinios
Jackson, Mississippi

Some stores qualify for buy online, pick up instore (click2store). In which case, you can also use the trade in deal to get another $100 off.

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO GOT UPGRADES RECENTLY VIA STORE OR PHONE THANKS TO THE FEE PER LINE ADDITION FROM MAY

I used the fee per line to try to cancel my account w/o ETF but no dice, so instead i got a few other goodies, including two early (6 months early) upgrades to S4s. I was charged $175 plus tax/fees per phone. got my phones a few days ago, and then I saw this post. I called 611 to see if i could get the difference as a credit to my account, and was told that this deal (the 50% off) was only available online, not over the phone or in stores. however, as a courtesy, they refunded the difference for one of the lines (giving me a $90 credit). not much of a win, but still a win. good luck to all who got early upgrades, hopefully you can all get the credit as well! - AmericanIMG

i guess it ends up being better than the trade in (assuming you only do one and use it for a new line, etc)

Not sure if trolling, but porting means keep your number when you switch companies.
