I agree; their quality has been poor for some time now. I guess they want you to buy their extended service plan. They're pretty costly for small appliances-you might as well save the money & buy a new one when it breaks. Like you, not a Sears fan anymore.
I had to take a lawn mower back in for repair under mfg warranty (yes, not a refg) - was telling the salesman that the next mower I buy's going to be from Costco - the guy starts telling me that this is why one buys an extended warranty so that it's covered - just as good a Costco. I shut him up real fast when I said that Costo GIVES YOU YOUR MONEY BACK so you can buy another one if you want! (ya f'n dumbass!!!) LMAOLMAOLMAOLMAOLMAO

That's from now on I'm going to buy all my stuff from Costco. Already it's paid off with a power washer when the pump failed a year later even though I'd taken damn good care of it. Such is the world today - everything breaks way too soon and we're expected to grin and bear it. I don't pay $300 for something to work just a few times so I can buy it again. Never again. It used to be there was pride in manufacturing, and those stores that were retailers were able to honor some kind of warranty/agreement directly with their manufacturer/supplier but now - god damn - try to talk to the Chinese!!

Sears/Kmart seriously need to bring their website into the 21st century. One picture per product? Skimpy product info/spec? They're still living in the age of the paper catalog.
Agreed. Kmart Sucks.

My wife has had this fridge in her office for about a year. It works fine. Needs to be defrosted every 3 months or so.

think I'd be able to fit a 5 gallon corny keg in there?
