Got the premier one and it looks pretty much similar at the same price as last year. I saved $50 on that one too! I also ordered the grey one here. Shipped in a week or so but white one is in stock. Grey looks more cool. The prices on these 70 pints dehu. are somewhere above $250.

This is my first Dehumidifier so i don't know how it compare with others.

it does generate some heat, and typical fan noise.

one strange thing is the fan keeps on as long as the unit it turned-on. i thought i could set a humidy level so it only keeps off when needed. don't see to be the case.

Seems like this deal is still going until 8/30, but the reviews are bad. Anyone who bought this have any reviews/opinions?

I haven’t hook my hose up to mine yet but everything else works fine. It is loud as hell but it does pull a lot of moisture out even on low. I also found the temp and humidity reading on the unit to be accurate when compared to my indoor weather station. As long as you can get it from Costco I would say it’s a great deal. If I do have any problems down the road I won’t even bother trying to get it repaired as it will be going back for a refund.

Thanks for the feedback! After looking at Lowes, BJs, Home Depot, Sears, Target, Best Buy, Costco (locally), and pawn shops, I finally found _one_ 40 pint dehumidifier in stock - this weather has been crazy here. Got it, but it's not sufficient for my basement. So, I ordered this 70 pint from Costco. Hopefully it comes soon, and works well.

Great deal, mine has ran 24/7 for the past year in the basement of my new construction home with NO problems whatsoever. Hooked up the hose drain, and it's good to go!

Good price, not sure about the product though. I recently researched and bought a dehumidifier, and the Frigidaire models seem to get the better reviews. The Frigidaire warranty is apparently a refund if it dies in the warranty period (I like this - no hassles with repairs).

This model doesn't seem to have a built-in pump for the drain line, if that's important to your application. I also can't find wattage information, but the Frigidaire 70 pint draws about 750 watts (50 pint is about 480 watts).

Per many reviews, ALL of them are basically disposable, so don't expect a 20 year life like applicances made in the 70s.

I use a VeraLite and an Aeon Labs SmartSwitch to control my dehumidifier and to keep it from running constantly and shut it down when we are within hearing distance. Send a PM if you'd like details.

Same here. Mine has been going 24/7 since I bought it 10 months ago and it is a beast!

This deal is back!

Don't forget to combine with an AEP Ohio Rebate for $25 back. Note that this rebate is available every year and the only condition is one per year.

No warranty needed w/ Costco's nice return policy.

Did any of you try the drain line on this model..I am planning to use that..Do you need it to be elevated or inclined - to drain completely?

I propped various random items above mine to give it a gradual decline to an in-floor drain. I suppose you don't need to, but with such a short plastic tube it would end up being rather close to the in-floor drain...

Two basic questions:

1. I have a walk-out basement townhouse (garage is at same ground level), my basement isn't too bad but whenever I have washer and dryer on, condensation drip from copper pipes above the machine. Other than that, never feel anything uncomfortable. How do I know if I need a dehumidifier or no他?

2. Costco site usually charge about $10 more to compensate the shipping, is this model sold in store as well? Thanks.
