You said, "we are asked by those who have no heart who will continue working hard jobs for min wage if we make their status legal or educate their children. It Is a whole scheme/scam."
Tell me who will continue working those jobs.
And while you're at it, prove your claim that those people have no hearts.
Let me rewrite the statement to make it a bit more clear:
we are asked by those who have no heart, "who will continue working the hard jobs for min wage if we make their status legal or educate their children?"
That is a question asked by those who have no heart. I do not know what else you are asking.
And the proof of "no heart" is in the pudding. Wanting to deny schooling and healthcare to children of unauthorized workers and advocating their round up and sending their children who have lived the majority of their lives here to a country foreign to them is the very definition of having no heart IMO.
Now, I will not answer these questions again no matter how many more times you ask them
"Does my Obama bumper sticker still make your head explode?"
Definition of living wage: this is not my field of expertise. I would defer to experts. But I can imagine it to be tied to poverty level.
Who should get it: you presented some red herring examples. Here is my example: a married man with two children working for a roofing company or fast food restaurant.
How many hours per week: again not my field of expertise but I take 40 hrs a week.
Any more questions?
Wow, a proponent of the living wage (based on his own comments here), but will not answer foundational questions about a popular employment and economic principle??? Weird.
For sure there are those who are just lazy. And I totally can see and have seen the type of people in your example. But contrast those with unauthorized workers who work for a roofing company or who pick fruits and vegetables in extreme heat for extended number of hours. Their work is one of the toughest works around and they work hard at it. You think they can afford to come late, leave early, take a 2 hour lunch and in between constantly make personal calls on their cell phones and still keep their jobs or even be paid? You think they get sick leave, medical ins or paid vacations? You think they would get raises when they do a good job? You think they won't work even with a 102 fever else their children might not eat food that day?
And in discussions about unauthorized workers, after a few iterations we are asked by those who have no heart who will continue working hard jobs for min wage if we make their status legal or educate their children. It Is a whole scheme/scam.
Perhaps they should legally enter the country and legally work in the US. I have no sympathy for lawbreakers to who illegally work in this country.

Reason: Automerged Doublepost
That question is not my question. Ask those who ask that question.
lol! You constantly bring up the subject to ridicule other people and their points on that subject, but when asked for a straightforward answer on that subject, you take the Fifth. sigh!
Perhaps we can fine the employers who hire people who are allowed to be here. But we do not. I wonder why. &
What's the point of fining employers for hiring illegals if those illegals are now considered legal residents anyway?
If you could today pass big fines for employers who hire illegals from this point on, would giving illegals legal status who can't prove they've been here more than seven days starting today also stop?
Also, would you still require these people to have documentation in order to buy a gun? They seem like trustworthy enough people that we will let them roam about the country without apprehending them even though they are breaking the law every day, so we can also trust them to buy guns without a background check or I.D., right?
