Acme Tools [acmetools.com] has Dewalt DW745 for $299.99 with free shipping and no sales tax for most of us.

Apply Coupon Code: SUPERSALE to take 10% off and the final cost would be:

$299.99 - $30 (10% off with SUPERSALE) = $269.99
(Free shipping on order over $199)
(No tax for most states)

This table saw was $274 via Amazon and went to FP 2 month ago, now it's sweeter!

The coupon code was supposed to be expired on 8/11 according to the email I received, but based on the attached image it will be valid till 8/18. So HURRY!

I got this for $279 from them 2 weeks ago and was thrilled at the price. $269 is even better! It's a great saw for a portable table saw, the only downside to it being the inability to take dado blades.

Ditto that. Great value. I picked up the companion stand for it from amazon and it fit great.

Even with off-shore manufacturing, their products look to have excellent quality control. All the stickers are on straight too!

Can anybody confirm if they got the 16" rip capacity or the new 20" capacity?

It has the 20" capacity. I got mine from Acme last week, so I am certain this will have it as well. Dewalt made that change last fall, there are probably very few vendors that have the 16" models anymore.

What kind of stands you need for these? Also you change the miter gauge?

Not that I don't believe you, but as of 11:53am CT, their site lists 16" under the 'features' tab. In addition, the specifications tab lists:

Rip Capacity - Left (in) 12
Rip Capacity - Right (in) 16

Those on the fence or paranoid may want to follow up with the site, and post their results here. That extra 4" makes a pretty big difference, although it's no 52" drool

Is 10% really front-page-worthy? Not knocking on the deal, but I don't feel so compelled, even though I do need a table saw. Mine died a week ago. It is screeching very loudly... still haven't ripped out the motor to see if I can figure out how to fix it.

Thumbs down. Don't waste my time with 10%-off deals.

I suppose this is the right place to ask - are there any 'jobsite' table-saws with anything like a 30-36"+ rip capacity? If there were anything sturdy enough to get to the center of a 4x8' sheet of MDF the wide way it'd be worth its weight in gold for the garage woodworker.
