Was just at Home Depot and happened to be looking for a new garage door opener to replace my old Stanley. Happened to see some Chamberlain HD920EVs marked down from $268 to $139. It looks to be a clearance item and seems like the are discounted because their new HD930 is in, but that doesn't matter much to me. They only had 2 boxes at the store I was at and I've looked on the website and every Zip code I entered said they did not seel the item, even the store I had just bought it from that had one left in stock that I know about.
Reviews seems pretty solid and while I have no need for the battery backup, but the other features are nice. I've lived at my house for 13 years and the powers gone out only a handful of times and I've never needed to open the garage when it did.
If you are in the market for a new opener, it might be worth stopping by your local HD to see if they have any in stock.
