Details:

Featuring a remarkable wireless controller and experience, the Nintendo Wii console invites players into game worlds and activities like never before. Whether they're young or old, expert gamers or beginners, Wii players will express themselves with intuitive motion control using the Wii Remote: a flick of the wrist to to swing a baseball bat or tennis racket, a backswing and follow-through to send a golf ball flying over a pristine fairway. Wii also taps into Nintendo's unrivaled legacy of great games with the Virtual Console. Connecting via wireless broadband to Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, Wii owners will be able to spend Virtual Console points to download selected classic games from NES, Super NES and N64 video game consoles. And through Wii Connect24, owners will be able to access even more content. Four-player compatibility as well as the ability to compete with other Wii players over broadband internet means that Wii offers a true social experience.

Disney Epic Mickey
Disney Epic Mickey is an action-adventure platforming game for the Wii console that sends Mickey Mouse on an epic journey of creativity and discovery. As Mickey, the player is propelled into Wasteland, an alternate world made up of Disney's forgotten creative efforts, and is given the power to wield paint and paint thinner to dynamically change the world while determining Mickey's path to becoming an epic hero. Through the use of this unique paint and paint thinner, the key components of animation and Mickey's tools for impacting his world, players will have the ability to shape how the story unfolds as they discover the concept of "Playstyle Matters" - an innovative style of gameplay created by Disney Interactive Studios' Junction Point, led by industry luminary Warren Spector, where players creatively tackle different challenges in the world to explore all the possibilities and storylines - but with consequences for their chosen actions.

Wii Sports
Wii Sports offers five distinct sports experiences, each using the Wii Remote to provide a natural, intuitive and realistic feel. Players can use their own Mii caricatures in the game and play them against their friends' Miis for a more personalized experience. As players improve, their Miis' skill levels will increase, so that they can see exactly how much better they've become.

LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga
Building on the success of both LEGO Star Wars videogames, LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga enables families to play through the events of all six Star Wars movies in one videogame for the first time ever. From the Trade Federation's "negotiations" with Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn in The Phantom Menace to the space battle above Endor in Return of the Jedi, The Complete Saga allows players to kick some brick through dozens of Story Mode levels.

Nerf N-Strike
The Search for the N-St rike El i te Begins. . . Through the din of a popular arcade, one player has emerged as the best N-Strike gamer his friends have ever seen. But even as Shane smashes through the game's record, something far more mysterious is happening: his success is being tracked and recorded. Shane is the perfect candidate for an ultra-exclusive invitation to become an N-Strike Elite. Later that night, he's awakened to find the Nomad C Series Recruitment bot hovering silently over his bed. "B.O.B." has a challenge for Shane. Join the quest to become an Elite Striker and he'll have access to Top Secret Blasters. It's all the incentive Shane needs, and as the one controlling Shane, it's your opportunity of a lifetime....

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
12th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards Winner: Outstanding Achievement in Adapted Story The Star Wars saga continues in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. You are Darth Vader's Secret Apprentice! The Dark Lord of the Sith himself has trained you to use a lightsaber and unleash the power of the Force, but now your destiny is your own. Will you join Vader as the next great Sith, or will you choose to defend peace and justice as a noble Jedi Knight? The expansive story, created under direction from George Lucas, is set during the largely unexplored era between Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope.

Wii Play

Thanks to the intuitive controls of the Wii Remote, even the most inexperienced gamers will have no trouble mastering the controls. Wii Play features nine seperate mini-games! Yeah, I'm wondering if they are trying to clear out stock now that the WiiU is $50 less starting today

Blast from the past? Apparently I'm getting old faster than I thought.

Quoted for truth. Also a note for people who may not know, the original Wii can play Gamecube games as well.

Not sure Gamestop calling it "blast from the past" really works though Stick Out Tongue . It isn't THAT old!

put in USB Loader, sell the 6 games for about $50 and you'll have a $30 console with unlimited games.

Check which edition of Wii it is. It is a good deal if it is from one of the earlier batches.

or just great homebrew. USB loader also allows you to install games you own (has to be the very early version of console (no black/red/etc). So you can install the 6 games.. and KEEP the discs as well..

I have Wii since 2006, modded with 1TB drive as well as hundred games but I still barely play Wii. Just sitting collecting dust...

Would be worth it if you could choose the games. I never really played wii much. I would pick one up at this price if I could grab Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, LoZ TP and SW, etc.

Not to mention the ability to stream netflix and amazon prime video. Good just for the ability to make your tv 'smart'

It seems like yesterday that I went to the Target in my town at 8:30 am and was handed a ticket that said 1. I was first to reserve a spot and as long as I showed up at the store at 9 I was guaranteed a Wii!! I still have it packed away in my closet.
It kind of hurts to see how it went from high class call girl to cheap $10 hooker!

No HD (or HDMI), though 480p max, which is pretty limiting.
