Toshiba Satelitte P75-A7200 Laptop (Manufacturer Refurbished)

This powerful Toshiba laptop provides a portable workstation powered by a swift Intel Core processor and 8GB of memory. Integrated Bluetooth technology allows the laptop to wirelessly sync with smartphones, tablets, and external speakers. Enjoy media as it was meant to be seen thanks to Resolution+ technology, which makes the picture as crisp and clear as this laptop's harman/kardon speakers make the audio. Users can also stream music and charge devices as the laptop sleeps, preserving its power in anticipation of Y2K, which, for some reason, it thinks hasn't happened yet.

17.3'' LED backlit widescreen display
Intel Core i7-4700MQ Processor
8GB of memory
750GB HDD hard drive
1GB of Ethernet
Windows 8 operating system

Drivers that work with Windows 7 64-bit for this laptop (needed when you want to *upgrade* to Windows 7) [From Notebook Review [notebookreview.com]

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thought I would share and help out. Just downgraded this model laptop to Win 7 x64 Ultimate. Hopefully this is useful for some people out there! I took a lot of time to re-confirm the links to post

Drivers that all seem to work:

Atheros wired LAN
http://cdgenp01.csd.toshiba.com/c...51200b.exe
8,347,768 bytes

Bluetooth
Driver Information
40,773,182 bytes

Intel chipset (general installer, takes care of a lot)
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/..._autol.exe
6,167,800 bytes

Intel rapid storage technology (might only be useful if you have an SSD, might not be useful at all, but it works)
http://cdgenp01.csd.toshiba.com/c...95900f.exe
18,679,184 bytes

Realtek card reader (had to get this from HP!)
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp5...p56166.exe
11,482,368 bytes

Touchpad (this one was annoying to track down, I just gave it a shot and it worked)
Drivers | Synaptics
114,922,857 bytes

USB 3.0
http://cdgenp01.csd.toshiba.com/c...56300b.exe
7,733,440 bytes

Intel wireless LAN (I think this is the right one, if not use the one below)
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/c...ldid=23045
28,659,304 bytes

Intel wireless LAN (possibly another one, I *don't think* this is the one that is used though)
http://cdgenp01.csd.toshiba.com/c...98200h.exe
87,426,680 bytes

Toshiba value added package (seems useful, but optional)
http://cdgenp01.csd.toshiba.com/c...85400D.exe
114,646,232 bytes

Intel ME/AMT (it didn't say it worked, it didn't say it didn't. I don't think these have AMT installed though)
http://cdgenp01.csd.toshiba.com/c...97100f.exe
59,899,248 bytes

I hate downgrading and hunting around because the OEMs have tried to lock down their specific hardware specs, or only offer Windows 8 support now. I remember when you bought a laptop and you could do whatever you wanted with it, not secureboot+windows 8+possibly no working drivers for your OS

Wow i7-4700MQ? This is great if u have missed last frontpage deal on the 17inch Toshiba i7 laptop which had inferior cpu than this.

It seems like you can add ssd to this as well.

I have been looking for a laptop like this to replace my second gen. Its a great price for 1080 17" with i7. I'm not sure if I want a Toshiba.

most likely its 1.4b. I have heard these do true 120 Hz, but it might be frame packed. 4K is 24 Hz. I hate how HDMI is shitty compared to other tech, but is just marketed well.

This is a GREAT deal. Just $30 more than the Ivy Bridge i7 frontpage deal. This also comes with slightly better graphics at Intel 4600 vs Intel 4000.

Very front page worthy.

This is a great deal...selling for $730 at best buy...tons of great reviews, cpu rivals desktop, intel 4600 graphics. Nice if it had IPS display (it has a TFT), but not at this price point. Toshiba is one of the few laptop manufacturer's that still puts the speakers on top, where they belong. Only bummer is 90 day warranty. Front page soon...

IF gaming isn't your priority, this seems like a great deal. I've been taking my DVDs (that I own) and ripping them and if your software uses Intel Quicksync, the encoding is much faster with the Intel video than using a discrete video card.

Any option to get an extended warranty on this?
