It has 120hz, is 1080p, and is an LED tv

The complaints about packaging seems valid though. All reviews complained about it even the 4 star review. Would consider it, but too much of a gamble and hassle since it prob wont fit in my car if I need to return it.

Seems like a good price for 55". Told my friend to buy one as he was looking for a TV.

There is also a Insignia 55" new for $500 at BB...anyone thinking about that one?

Yup. They don't usually give out free furniture with your tv.

As far as the packaging goes, WALMART tops the list of worst packers.

So after I saw a deal last year for Vizio 47' LCD (refurb), I decided to buy it, It was a nightmare to work with Walmart reps. First it took more than a week to get my TV, I was excited and I opened the box, only to see they shipped wrong base. So called Walmart explained the situation, they said check with VIZIO, I called VIZIO they asked me whole bunch of useless questions and finally they said you need buy new base from us, I was like WHAT :-o WTF I would buy base, when I just got this TV shipped from Walmart.

Long story short, called couple of time, spoke with Walmart rep, finally they shipped another TV and asked me to return old and they gave return label (this time they sent TV with base assembled). After I returned TV, a week later I checked online status, and that still shows TV not returned. Walmart and T-mobile's technology (IT) team sucks, they need to test their process.

I order refurb TV, but it looked Brand New.

Its been more than a year now, don't have any problem with the TV what so ever. Moved my house, had issues with the way my stuff was moved, but TV still works great.

Final words: I would buy another VIZIO (even if it is refurbished) if I have to buy another TV.

Dealing with Walmart is a headache, but I know my money is not going anywhere, if you are okay with getting this TV with couple of weeks delay, I would say "Go For It".

Like a wooden tv stand that you set your tv on? You must shop at Pauls the king of big screen, only found within art van.

Your attempt at "humor" (or whatever) failed miserably.
