I am posting this as a heads-up, but I am sorry I don't have more details. [Mods: If this needs to be in the finance section, please move it, but I placed it here for more exposure.]

I received the attached letter from Datapak Services Corporation (via AllClear) who state the my customer information (credit card, address, etc) may have been compromised. I thought I would post this here since we all shop at a lot of the same sites.
[Update---see posts below for WBShop.com info]
I am not going to list all the sites that I have shopped at, but from my past posts you will find Rakuten, Newegg, Amazon, and others quite often. The letter does not state the client company's name.

I don't know about Newegg, I would suspect that Amazon does all of their processing in-house.

In my own speculation, Rakuten is at the top of my because the time frame seems to work out. See this thread:

http://slickdeals.net/f/6018544-rakuten-buy-com-customers-getting-fraudulent-credit-card-charges?

Newegg was talked about here:http://slickdeals.net/f/6268674-newegg-account-compromised-beware-of-potential-security-breach

Datapak Services offered me one years' worth of credit monitoring from AllClear PRO. Again, they are keeping the ID of their client private. Since I can use different information at different sites, I am not sure what, if any, of my information was exposed.

[Personal information has been deleted from the letters.]

Received the letter last week and called to see which merchants they process for (I shop online quite a bit). I was also curious to determine if it was legit or not. They could not help but offered to pass my name and phone number to someone who could provide merchant names. I got a call back the next day. In my case it was WBShop (I am not sure they are the only merchant impacted). I have an account at WBShop and have shopped there for a couple of years but do not store my cc information.
As a note, I had fraudulent charges on my cc a month or so ago and had it re-issued immediately.

I was just about to purchase from WB Store today and of course after reading this I can't, too bad because I found some nice deals on a few blu-rays with the coupon code.

I wonder why they don't accept Paypal.

Add me to the list, purchased the Chris Nolan Directors Collection back when and had someone attempt a $700-ish charge at BestBuy.com this morning. Luckly the fraud dept. flagged it.

About two weeks ago I got an email from BOA that I had fraudulent charges on my debit card so they sent me a new one. But the charges never got through.

I bought the Gremlins/Gremlins 2/Goonies Pack at WBshop.

Didn´t get the Datapack letter in the mail. Maybe because I moved.

Same letter for me about 2 weeks ago and my card was comprised about a week before that . About $1400 was charged from Woot and a few other online but unknown places in a couple of hours ; but fraud dept caught it .

My last purchase from the WBShop was back in may , buy god only knows where else DataPak lives online . Stupid to send out a letter as such with no further information to help us out with any possible business id's that were compromised .

I almost thought the letter itself was a fraud or hoax = Idiototic DataPak ....no wonder they were breached .

Slightly related--it would appear that Adobe is now sending out similar letters to people who had credit cards in their systems (for subscription services), due to the breach in their systems recently, also offering a year's membership in another credit monitoring service (ProtectID?).

I can't believe DataPak won't or has not yet released a list of its partners who may have had customers compromised Frown

I never had a credit card on file with Adobe for subscriptions or anything, but I did have my email and information in their database. A few weeks ago I got an email from them to confirm a password change. I didn't request any kind of change, so I guess this might explain why that happened.

Yea, I got that email because I have an online Adobe account with no cc, but a person at work who had a cc on file for a FormsCentral subscription got snailmail, similar to what was sent out from DataPak.

Add me to the list. Got a letter in the mail and everything.

Going to Enroll in their AllClearID protection crap as I've been getting hits on my CC left and right. Gotta call the 3 credit check places tomorrow as well. God damnit.

How do you get a list of the sites that Datapak fulfills for or clears credit cards for? I don't know which site I shopped that they service

That is the 64 thousand question. Problem being is Datapak is not going to provide such a list. They probably have in their contractual agreements they retain this info.
