Would this be better than the $769 lenovo weekly deal? or just different? Is most of the money just for the touchscreen?

You'll have to look up some reviews, these are pre-orders Wink

Which ultrabooks with these kind of stats have larger HD for this price? You get 256gb for $1199

I dunno. I was thinking the same thing. It doesn't indicate it's a sale, but for the i7 to be a full $300 less than from Lenovo directly ... seems like something's off. Confused

Nothing atm, just tired of companies dicking consumers around. Honestly, I'm waiting for the haswell xps 12 to hit the outlet. Get one cheap with DELL promo codes, GC Bonus, and call in to return trick. I can probably get a i5 256 GB for around $600...

Most of the time you never pay the "Original" price on Lenovo's site. They always have coupons and sales that lower the price so I think their default ones are always high.

I just checked one of these out at the Best Buy next door, and I have to say this is one nice laptop. The only thing that I could find wrong is that the track pad is a bit farther right than I'm used, but I think I would get used to it pretty quickly.

The screen is beautiful! I don't know about Windows DPI scaling, but I didn't see any issues at all with the screen, and it looked much better than any other laptop in the store. The keyboard is also a big step above the average low-profile keyboard.

The only thing holding me back is that it looked like this is a normal price, and I'm thinking that maybe it will go on sale at some point (BF?).
