Just came back from HD. Searched for this at SD and could not find a post for these dimmable LED light bulbs.

The 40W equivalent Cree which was 9.97 is now 6.97 and the 60W equivalent which was $12.97 is now $9.97. This is in Northern CA. Did not say the lower price is because of the utility (PG&E). I think it is a price drop.

Online, the 40W eq shows lower price. Have been using both these bulbs for a couple of months and they are great.

I also found a 4 pack, 40W equivalent Ecosmart LED (made by Lighting Science) for 19.97. This seems new to HD.

Went to the local Home Depot in Southwestern PA last night and picked up the two 60W bulbs (SKU 1000003071) for $8.97 in store - not sure if they dropped in price further.

FYI also, the shelves were only stocked with the usual HD brands - GE, Sylvania, Philips etc. There was a separate display rack right there with the Cree bulbs on there (there was no price shown on the rack but that may be just my store.

Must be competing with Walmart. I'm glad they are more competitively priced.

Sweet, glad these are coming down in price Smilie For people interested in dimmable light these blow away incandescent bulbs once you get over the initial cost (as the more dimmed they are, the more efficient they are due to how they produce light.) However, for my uses, they're still too much per bulb / lummen. Still, TU for progress and cheap(er) LEDs Smilie

No go in Cleveland, Ohio. Still $9.97. But nice to see it's not a utility company sponsored deal.

I have one of these in my outside light that I leave on from dusk to dawn...it gives off a lot of light.

Is Wal-Mart selling this particular brand? Or just another type of CREE?

If you live on the west coast near a Daiso, you may be interested in their $3 60w eqv. LED light bulbs.

Not bad, I wish it was this price a few days ago when I was at the store (still $15 then I think), but I gotta go back for returns anyway. Will grab 1 or 2, thanks.

Oops, didn't notice the mention of Daiso, will check those out too.

I wonder aside the branding and higher quality control, what are the difference between the Great Value dimmable 60-watt equivalent LED for $9.88 verses dimmable 60-watt equivalent GE LED lightbulb for less than $11? The latter aren't showing up in my searches.
