This kit includes drill, 2 Ryobi 18V one+ batteries, charger and carrying case
On-board bit storage for convenience

RYOBI 18V One+ introduces lithium-ion performance at Ni-Cd prices. This kit is powered by new and improved lithium-ion batteries, the very best value in lithium-ion performance. They hold a charge 4X longer, offer up to 20% more runtime and are 45% lighter weight than Ni-Cd batteries. Best of all, like all 18V One+ batteries, these new lithium-ion batteries work in every RYOBI 18V One+ tool ever made. Batteries stored on the IntelliPort charger are conditioned for peak performance. The drill includes a 1/2 inch heavy-duty single sleeve, keyless chuck with a 24 position clutch to match your drilling and driving needs. The drill features the exclusive MagTray and on-board bit storage, which allow convenient placement of bits and screws.

Be aware that there are several different sizes of the lithium batteries, make sure you are doing apples-apples comparisons on prices when you compare the batteries in the kits to the ones you can get a 1 or 2-packs on the shelves.

There are at least 2 'big' packs, and at least 2 'small' packs, higher and lower capacities of each. The high capacity pack usually has the fuel gauge, even on the smaller one (I think..).

ryobi is probably the best bang for your buck when it comes to power tools. I've used the one system for 10+ years and every tool has been a work horse with the exception of the chainsaw, but I hadn't tried that with the new batteries yet.

If you can't afford, or don't want to spend the coin on a Ridgid, this is the way to go.

If you're like me and have the tools but have yet to get the lithium batteries this is a "good" deal, saves $20, but I also really don't want another drill.

This is the the small Lithium battery (2x), the 4x Lithium+ is about twice as tall.

But Black Friday has crazy good bundles and combos if you can wait.

I just want to say that I picked up this kit over the weekend and it's a very good deal for the money. With Black Friday coming up I compared last years deals and nothing really beat this outright. Home Depot's return policy is 90 days as well, so if this does drop in price it should be a simple return / rebuy. I will also say that the battery charger included in this kit revived my older NiCad 18v One+ NiCd batteries, which was an added bonus.

I own this drill for few months - works great and the battery lasts pretty long

This is a decent price... especially considering how much just two of those batteries normally cost. Earlier in the year, you were able to get this same kit but with the drill AND an impact driver for just $20 more.

I have the drill, the blower and the weed wacker, all are terrific, but shopping for additional batteries after getting the tool deals drove me crazy (two batteries for three tools was a little irritating), can't ever seem to get deals on the batteries by themselves. since my drill is showing some age, this deal is fine by me, although I do prefer the 4x batteries with the pretty green light, particularly using shop discover with the 5% online cashback.

Ryobi makes good tools. I like mine so much that vs upgrade to a lithium drill (at the time Ryobi did not have a lithium pack) I built my own lithium polymer pack 4 years ago.....it is a 5s stack of 5AH lithium polymer cells (5S1P 5000mah LIPO).
It delivers 19v under full load, so it delivers more power at the bit as well.

The thing I like about lithium is that the battery can be on the shelf unused for months at a time and will not deplete like Nickel chemistry packs do. My old NICAD packs would loose their charge, and then would require a cycle or two on the charger to come back to full capacity.

My first venture on SD was Ryobi doing a 50% rebate for tools bought at Home Depot; it was a glorious mess.

I got $320 worth of ONE+ tools for $160. I'm now pretty much not moving away from Ryobi for a decade because of it.

Ditto that comment. I have at least a dozen different ryobi tools and they are all great with the exception of the chainsaw (Although I am not sure there are any decent battery chainsaws out there). The newer Lithium batteries are awesome (Especially the ones with the fuel gauge lights to let you know how depleted they are).

This deal is OK. You can routinely get the drill + impact driver kit [homedepot.com] for $20 more (frequently on sale for $99). If you will never need the impact driver, get this thread's deal. Thanks, OP.
