Mine appears to be in very good shape with no scratches (I didn't look very hard), and no dead pixels. It was well packed and fully assembled in a plain brown box. If it matters, USB, DVI, VGA, and power cables were also included. Yes, mine was a S2340L (HDMI + VGA). This monitor isn't compatible with Dell's speakerbar, and no build-in speakers!
I'm only using it as a single monitor setup, so fancy arms aren't important to me. Monitor stand is sturdy, can tilt forward and backwards with no height adjustment.
Why not do a search on SD for dual monitor arm and see whats out there?
Still waiting on mine (ordered 10/2). The expected delivery date is constantly slipping.
My order was placed on 24th, acknowledged by Dell the same day. FedEx tracking # was issued to me later on that day and monitor was delivered on 28th. If it was my order, I would already ask them about it! Dell Chat is open 24/7, why not give them a try? First time Dell customer here and so far, I am impressed by S2340L and its quick delivery. Good luck with your order!
All three of mine just arrived. Not a dead pixel or scratch on any of the screens. One of them is wobbly on its base, the other two are fine and sturdy on their bases. One odd thing about them is that they all seem to stand at different heights.
For instance, Monitor 1 seems to be 1/8" taller than Monitor 2, and Monitor 2 seems to be 1/8" taller than Monitor 3, leaving Monitor 1 about 2/8" taller than Monitor 3. Seemed odd to me. Adjusting didn't seem to help.
Independently they all have amazing picture quality, however, once I set up my 5760x1080 monitor setup I quickly noticed that one of them has a very bad (to me) yellow tint. I have all three monitor's on the same settings, and have tried different things, but can't seem to get rid of the yellow tint. Thinking about sending that one back in if it's not too much of a hassle.
One of the other ones is as white as can be, and seems to have no yellow tint, while the final monitor to me eye does seem to have a VERY faint tint of yellow, but VERY hard to see.
I don't know how well it comes across in the picture I've attached. It looks worse to me IRL than in the picture, but anyway, maybe you can see the difference there.
Is that something Dell would likely send a replacement for, or is that just wishful thinking? It's really quite annoying to me since it's something I notice very easily, and what turned me off from a multiple monitor display a couple years ago.
Other than that, they were packaged very well, and in great condition (other than the one stand).
