Was gonna pull the trigger b/c price is decent and Intel's warranty is excellent. But further research shows the Intel 530 Series is basically just a tweaked/fixed 520... ie... old tech with pretty lackluster performance. I suppose that this point, it's prob just best to wait for BF...

what does it mean reseller kit?

I think it's Intel's term for an OEM ("bare drive") kit. In other words, it's not a retail packed product with all the accessories and maybe a modified warranty.

When you click on 120Gb model it shows a picture of the 320 series?

Any explanation for this newegg review?

Using the AS SSD Benchmark program I just ran a benchmark test on my new Intel 530 Series 240GB SSD. I ran the test a few times and the summary results were just about the same each time, as follows:
Intel 530 Series 240GB
Read score: 266
Write score: 286
Final score: 686

As a comparison here are the results for my Samsung 840 Pro 256GB:
Read score: 462
Write score: 404
Final score: 1112

I certainly didn't expect the Intel's benchmarks to equal or exceed the Samsung Pro but these results border on the pathetic. I certainly didn’t expect this poor showing.

Your statement is ambiguous. If you are an Intel hater then you are implying it stinks. If you are an Intel fanboy then you are implying it's great. It seems to be in between the two in reality, though based on reviews it is closer to stink than great.

I'm giving an answer on the same level of "is this good?" Reviews exist and will be more accurate and quick than waiting for a reply.
