Good find, thanks! I'd love one but think the configuration is a bit out of my beginner league. Foscam setup is about my limit, so I guess that's the quality level I'm stuck with.

Hey, You can just search the camera using the software and add it. With Blue Iris you can use this with foscam together.

hmm tempting, I could really use a 3 Megapixel deal though

these are on the edge of professional cameras. Way above the league of foscam etc. Theyre one of the few options that are in this quality league at a non 300+ dollar price.

This is a decent deal. Most the time you have to order them from alibaba straight from china, and thats hard for the normal consumer to do. Also, be aware, support may be lacking

Given this is almost twice the price of the Foscam's (when they go on sale, which is very often)..I would hope so.

That is comparing it to the wrong Foscam cameras. The 720P Foscams are the right camera to compare against, and are slightly more expensive actually http://www.amazon.com/Foscam-FI9821W-Indoor-Wireless-Camera/dp/B00AJWK5WW

No, they have also been on sale quite a few times. You are also comparing wireless to wired.

Don't forget this one is sealed and waterproof for outdoor use vs the indoor Foscam that's linked.

Yes, but not for $65. Those are all the low resolutions ones that are half the price. The cheapest I think the 720P versions have got is around $120. The point was the resolution comparison, which is where the cost difference comes. I don't think there is really much of a price difference between the wireless and POE.

720p Foscam's were just $100 shipped.

What are you talking about ? This deal is for one camera.

I couldn't care less how many you buy...I was just giving other options.
