Homedepot.com seems to be offering their dewalt 20v drill, 2 batteries, case, and charger for $99 with free shipping prior to black friday. I just placed my order and received confirmation. Lowest price using the research tool was $146. Go easy on me, its my first deal post.

This kit has two 1.3 Ah lithium-ion batteries. Not the standard 1.5 Ah lithium-ion batteries.

The charger is also slower than the standard, at 60 minutes instead of 30.

This particular one is a new model that uses lithium ion batteries rather than ni-cad batteries. Not sure if one is better than the other but Im upgrading my 18volt for this new 20v.

Awesome. This is exactly the only thing I needed to buy on Black Friday.

Same price as black Friday without having to wait so its not a bad deal.

I've just got too many tools running on the ni-cad batteries to start switching to li-ion yet.

I'm sad that they have gotten cheap and the tools are starting to come with a bag instead of the hard cases, not nearly as user friendly and not the same level or protection.

I agree. The case was the best part of my old 18v Dewalt. Not looking forward to the bag but it's still a quality drill so I'm happy.

Honestly unless you are getting into the newer 20 Volt brushless tools, going from the 18 volt to 20 volt is a lateral move....

I was saying going from 18 volt LI to 20 volt LI was a lateral move. I did not consider he might be going from 18 volt NI to 20 volt LI for some reason.... Alot of the tools have same specs. The 20 volt LI line can not even be advertised as 20 volt in the UK, Australia, and so on. They call it the 18XR over there, as they consider calling it 20 volt to be false advertising.

well in that case, 18=>20 is no big deal. But i'd pay the extra $10 anyday for lithium and the slimmer profile
