You should be eligible, 360 is online only bank (acquired from ING) and operates separately.

I would be interested in knowing if the bank is doing a hard pull before opening the accounts.
I am assuming that a soft pull has no harm on the credit history.

Is there a hard credit check when opening a savings account? What about a checking account?

I think I will call them up and ask to be sure, too bad they don't seem to have a chat specialist ..

As I posted in the Black Friday Capital One thread:
Quote from CapitalOne360 :
CREDIT REPORTS - You agree that in connection with your application for 360 Checking and/or the Overdraft Line of Credit, the Bank will obtain credit information about you from one or more credit reporting agencies. You also agree that the Bank reserves the right to obtain follow-up credit reports on you in connection with the maintenance, review or collection of your 360 Checking and/or Overdraft Line of Credit.
Taken from--https://home.capitalone360.com/terms_360checking

That said. I had already had a Capital One 360 savings account, and it was super easy to create this checking account. (I was wanting for BF) They allowed me to deposit the money from my 360 savings account, and it already had the information on my other bank's linked checking account. It did not automatically add my overdraft protection. I am not sure if a pull was done yet or not. Under "Set Up Overdraft Protection" it says, "Apply now."

Thanks OP, signed up for a savings account. The 0.75% APY is better than my current capital one savings 0.50%...seems strange?
