Some stores will have more than 10 units at the $199 price. Microsoft's online store is also carrying the offer, with the $99 price for the first 100 orders and then $199 for the rest of the day while stocks last."

Wifi issues? Uninstall Windows Updates KB2887595 and KB2903939. Then change your Windows Update setting to "Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them" until this problem gets resolved. Some have also said update KB2883200 may be causing some problems unrelated to WiFi. The desktop version of Windows Update will allow you to hide these updates (tap and hold,) and restore hidden updates if need be.

Questions we need answered:

1. Is the deal only available in certain retail stores?
--Microsoft Call Center representative confirmed this deal is available in all retail stores. Did not ask about specialty stores.

2. What about specialty stores? Is it available there?
It will be available in kiosk MS Store locations.. I don't believe the store in a store i.e. BB locations are in this deal.

3. Not sure if its every store, but mine is also offering 10% off to students, and the details don't seem to exclude it.

Don't plan on getting one online. MIcrosoftStore.com crumbles to the ground every time they offer deals. It crumbled Black Friday 2012, it crumbled Black Friday 2013. It crumbles whenever they offer deals.

Another option for the 64GB version:
Quote from gtamega View Post :
300 at Costco with 64gb +Folio case+2 years Warranty YMMV
I just got this today at my B&M Costco here in Lancaster, CA.

It was $300 w/ the 64GB Ram and the Folio case. No stylus. There was an instant rebate of $30 and this expires on 12/9/2013. Not a bad deal but if I can get 32GB for $99.99 I will return the Costco one.

I had open it and love this thing. Org I was going to get an Apple Mini Retina but the price is crazy even getting a 15% discount from my brother who works there.

dell venue 8 pro $99 ms store, $199 online
Your original post is above. It's missing a lot of information, and that's what I replied to originally.

Starts 12/9........

Please stop flaming me throughout the thread. The original post by the OP did not have any details; information was added later, and I pointed out the error in pricing because the OP did not put a start date in his post (nor any other details). There's no need to keep telling me that I'm wrong. The evidence is archived server-side, and the OP was manipulating you by pretending that his original post had any necessary details.

What does minimum guaranteed time mean. I would like to try my luck in store but its not worth it might not be worth it if there are only 20.

I wish I can get it for $99 too, but not worth the gas and time missed work. I will try to get it at $199 online, that's still a great price for a great tablet.
