Unless you're like a majority of people that have had me build them PCs, that would never use over 8gb Stick Out Tongue

ps: nobody likes you

Troll elsewhere. And that is not a valid reason to vote "not a good price".

Why this obsession with 16GB of RAM? Inquiring minds want to know.

Newb here regarding compatability, everything looks good for me except speed seems different, here are my specs.

Memory Installed 6 GB
Maximum allowed 16 GB (4 x 4 GB) (64-bit OS)

*Actual available memory may be less
Speed supported PC3-10600 MB/sec
Type 240 pin, DDR3

Do you know which one I should buy? I am worried about my numbers being 10600MB/sec and these all having higher numbers, will they just not run as fast?

yes, they will just scale back, should work just fine with your setup.

Thanks OP. Been waiting for a decent deal on the Ares to get some more Orange in my build =P

Not an impulse-purchase price, but good enough for now.

8GB is not enough, while 12GB is hard to find. (yes, I occassionally use over 8gb when running many applications and VMs)

I'd love to find a 12GB kit
